I’m kind of surprised that b&b junior wasn’t on the list it’s truly a beautiful production (if pulled off right) I can understand that all of the costumes would be more expensive with the bigger costumes like madame, cogsworth, and mrs pots. My school recently did the regular one of it and it was amazing!
B&B is an AMAZING show (actually my first ever show that I performed in!), but I agree, the costumes can be incredibly costly.

I was jetsam in the full version before, so fun!
The only technical issue with frozen is doing her dress change
Agreed! That one can be a challenge. My favorite variation of this has been when they use the snowflake/magic dancers to help with the transformation :)

@cayleejo I did it, and we used a snap dress, and the snow dancers just kinda distracted

@@Coopsartsandmore. I’ve done frozen twice. The first time, I was Elsa. The second time, I was snow chorus. The first time I did it, the lights went off and two tech crew members pulled the dress off of me (it was unhooked in the back). The other dress was underneath it. The second time I did it, the four members of snow chorus had fans they used throughout the entire song. The snow chorus walked in front of Elsa and danced.
Newsies Jr is such a blast of a show, I just played Katherine. ait was my last ever Jr show and it was absolutely amazing to end it by playing my dream role. It is true that you need very strong talent and luckily we had a lot of that. The only problem that I personally had was the complete cut of Jack and Katherine's romance. I do underatand that Jr shows don't do stage kisses, but I think that Something to Believe in is such a gorgeous song and shows off a lot of talent. But other than that such a fun show. I loved the addition of newsies made specifically for girls as well.

I have some issues with Matilda jr, it’s plot is very rough with a lot of holes in it. The broadway version is based on the old movie, but the jr version is based on the book. But it still tries to take plot from the movie.

I actually really enjoy the Jr. version of Into the Woods! The full version can feel too long (in my opinion), so I enjoy that the Jr. version hits the high points and moves along, but both great shows overall ❤
My first show…you ‘re a Goodman Charlie Brown. Elementary school.
I feel like mean girls jr is a very good production to do, I was in it! It was the simplest productions I’ve done, it’s put in modern time so the costumes we literally used the ones the cast had at home. The jr version makes me cringe a bit but it’s not inappropriate. And I think it’s an easy production and fun one! And definitely was popular this year
I love Suessical! It has such a special place in my heart! I played Jojo in the kids version when I was 9, and it was my first lead! I would totally love to do the Jr or full version! I also played Sharpay in HSM Jr when I was 10, and it was my second ever lead! AND I am auditioning for Newsies Jr. in a couple months!
i just finished up doing addams family young@part and i got wednesday! wish me luck for my finding nemo audition tomorrow!!
I did little mermaid jr this year. A week ago today was opening night. I was Ariel and it was so much fun❤

I am currently reseashal for my local amateur theatre group production of addams family in October
Actually the full length musical of The Addams Family is based on the tour version which makes some changes to the script
My first show was The Jungle Book Kids! I would love for my theatre camp to do Seussical!

@@cayleejo it was fun! I was one of the coils of Kaa The Snake (we had a tube thing that we spray painted gold and we used it as a puppet.)
my middle school did annie last year, and the high school did little mermaid but this year my middle schools doing fame and the high school is doing wizard of oz
i just did willy wonka jr. and played charlie! had a great time! 😂😂😂

Into the woods It’s on the list this year I’m playing the witch and my cousin performed Moana in 2022 as Moana which I wish I was in but I wasn’t in middle school yet but one that wasn’t on the list was Anastasia the full version which I performed last year which is not a surprise that it wasn’t on the list but the other ones have been here in my area so this year my friends school is performing adams family and like I said my cousin performed Moana last year my friends school performed shrek junior and before covid happened my school performed Matilda junior and I think another school performed frozen jr
Break a leg with the witch, definitely the most vocally demanding character in the show, in my opinion!
