Beirut explosion: Bride's photoshoot interrupted by massive blast
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 сер 2020
- Video shows a bride posing for photographs on her wedding day in Beirut on Tuesday when the massive explosion happened in the port of the city in a warehouse that stored highly explosive material.
Footage captured by Seblani’s wedding photographer, Mahmoud Nakib, shows the moment when the shock wave hit, turning a special moment into a mad scramble for all involved.
As bride Dr. Israa Seblani stood smiling in a square close to the couple's wedding venue, the blast could be heard and the bouquet and the bottom of her dress were blown away in the aftermath that saw damage to buildings and smoke in the street. Seblani quickly ran away towards a building.
The explosion happened Tuesday evening at Beirut’s port, where officials say a fire set off more than 2,700 tonnes of explosive ammonium nitrate at a warehouse. The blast killed more than 100 people, injured thousands more and obliterated nearby buildings.

Apparently
The way he panned down to her dress right before the explosion, and the way the dress flew back made it seem like a movie scene. Totally insane.
I was shocked how fast everything went from 0-100
Was a normal pedestrian plaza one second and the next it looked like a war zone...
Weird, after watching her & her beautiful dress suddenly blown back 10 times, i started checking out all the windows-Before & after!

Have to admire the Lebanese. That was a truly massive shock wave but these people handled themselves with stoic dignity. No screaming or hysteria just calmly, purposefully walking to a safer location. Clearly individuals to whom adversity is an old foe.
That's what happens when you're accustomed to explosions. Beirut is not just any city.
We have been through so much.. we are so tired .. still in shock
