My wife was taken by her dad on holiday to Skeggie, c. 1951. The train ran from Leicester Belgrave Road station, and along the line from Bottesford to Boston.
I'll be on this very route week on Saturday, starting at Nottingham, and run all the way to Skegness. Do love this route, especially just before you get into Skegness.
