I know of you from other yu- tubers, and I have to say your presentation is awesome. Great content and personality. Look forward to hanging out more often,
no tube or even well done solid state amp works well. (small carry ones) One of the worst amps I had were 40 watt all tube amps with super lousy speakers Complete junk, (but I gave it to someone starting out). I really have started loving my Fender Champ XD 30 watt? I threw the manual out as soon as I got it. No idea what speaker is in it, hybrid with emulations built in. Its light, kick it down the stairs it will still work. think it has some sorta 10 inch speaker. I play through Fender 6l6 amps through an old piled 100lb 4x12 speaker cab Ive had for 40 years. silver center cones, to voltage rating, 4ohm/ 8ohm setting blah blah) paper outer cones, chrome center 12 inch speater. Ive starting looking at solid state amps due to the reliability and the pain ive had putting up with half stack amps that were all tube. Orange has inspired me because the amps are lighter and the used ones Ive played sound awsome.) not Roland (awsome built in reverb and chorus, but limited with fuzz and overdrive). sounds clean and are simple... as an amp should be but doesnt really have that rock metal tone without modifiying through a peddle board. Pete gets to rock with the best stuff. My hero.
I think an ultimate setup would be a Roland chorus 40 for acoustic and any good tube hybrid for the electric. Mic.... condenser, dynamic on the cab... on the vocal electric, condenser. electric geetar, any respecatable combo with a decent (Pete Thorne) player. It would soumd awesome... specially if wolfgang and slash showed up.
I would like to see Pete play a few licks here and there …. I will likely go back and binge watch some prior posts 👍🏻❤️🎸
I have taken the Egnater courses twice. Make the trip!

Great explanation of phase. sound effects were appropriate. Also Pete: Don't take the cone off mochi too soon. You might have to 'recone' him. Lol..
