As that music plays, further sounds became clear. Footsteps just out of view, the quiet voices of conversations, the cries of laughter. The dead mall was alive again, as new people walked it's previously quiet halls....but these people weren't human....and likely never were. It's why even the squatters avoid this place after dark....
as you walk around you find that there is something lurking, something unhuman, your natural senses screaming for you to run, but curiosity overwhelmingly strikes out of you, you keep on searching for something, you don't know what it is, but you need answers, somewhere in here lie answers but not the ones you may be ready for.........
despite smells of auntie anne's when they still used the real rock salt pervading my nose and fryers wafting the flavor of neon and stripped pink paint, i'm fearful that this is my third attempt at walking from the lobby into.. the lobby. starting to think the squatters were right - i am not alone here
