Interesting video ! I would like to install this hitch on my Outlander. I have same spare tire rack as yours but put regular tire on it. Do you think this hitch will fit with the regular tire in the rack?
I think it would be close depending on how much larger your standard size tire is versus the spare tire that usually sits there. If you measure the diameter of the tire and then Google the Curt Class III hitch, it should give you the width so you can determine if it can fit.
Hello Braydon. If you have another person helping you, I'd say approximately one hour, just be sure the exhaust is cool to touch. If doing it alone with Jack stands like myself, it takes a few hours to position everything, fish wire bolts and tighten up everything.

The two small bolts that mount vertically (passenger/driver side) do not fit on my 2016 outlander, despite being the correct size.
Check the threads inside the frame and try to clean them with a wire brush then try again.
