The Shawn Ray I met at Bulldogs gym in Glendora was on the cover of Flex magazine 1986 and I brought my 8-year-old brother to meet Shawn and have him sign the magazine. Shawn signed the magazine and the told my little brother to listen to me and work hard and in 10 years he can be on a magazine cover and motivate the next generation of bodybuilders. Just wanted to put my name behind a positive post about Shawn Ray.

I knew it was Haney and Dorian before I even heard 2 minutes of the conversation😂 I was surprised he missed Chris Dickerson's age I'm pretty sure Chris was 43 when he won his Olympia.
I really like Shawn and he’s 90’s physique was absolutely incredible and I used to watch him on ESPN with Boyer they did a bodybuilding show. The only problem I have with Shawn since he’s not a Olympian he always seems to have a chip on his shoulder. He does the truth, but a lot of it comes from the chip in my opinion one of the problems with bodybuilding height meaning if he was taller, he probably would’ve won, which is unfair. That’s what happened to Franco. But he knew he was short and stature so he knew that going into it but at the end of the day I do like Shawn

I was the same age as you I remember Sean two but also in the 80s I remember Mr Olympia Lee Haney that was like Arnold 0.2
