I see us staying put. Chemistry is far too valuable. Remember… Chet will return after the All-Star break (possibly). J. Williams will be back very soon. We will continue to run this 13-14 player rotation until the playoffs. We are solid and should not change a thing. ⚡️🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺⚡️
I agree to an extent. My thought process is if you can get an upgrade at a position, go do it. I think Herb would be an upgrade from Ous or Kenny Hustle
I only have an opposite idea on that because we have Dillon Jones and kenrich. They kenrich is a better developed player and Jones seemingly takes up kenrich’s minutes while rarely contributing. I say it is most likely gonna be Jones, another ( not Ajay Mitchell or Topic) Im saying it won’t be those 2 because they are probably gonna be the next stars once shai eventually ends up leaving the team in several years. Also them working with shai is going to help. So it would probably be DJ, Dieng, and a first round realistically. We already have plenty of guards but we need a PF. So I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens
Three things OKC could trade for are 1.) pg who can run the bench unit or play as a microwave scorer off the bench 2.) some more size, either a 4 or 5 over 6'8" depending on whether they want to play Chet and Hartenstein together more they may prefer a 5 to a 4 or someone who can play both like JWill 3.) anyone with the Thunder mentality who they hope to develop or use in rotation who hustles and is locked in defensively and is ready to make the extra pass to give up a good shot for an even better one
#1 Herb Jones #2 Cam Johnson The only names I'd consider if Im Sam Presti. Herb Jones on this squad would make our Squad so much more harder to score on esp since we're already no. 1 in ever Defensive Category. A lineup of SGA, Dort, Dub, Herb, and Chet would be deadly and ur bench lineup of Cason, AC, Joe, Wiggs, and IHART or If you wanna go all defensive lineup of Cason, AC, Dort, Herb, Chet.. theres just so many Variations of lineups with Herb Jones Cam Johnson on the other hand would just be another DEADLY offensive weapon for OKC... Having Cam Johnson and Isaiah Joe play at the same time would be so fun and irritating for teams to guard Lol.
I love Herb Jones too but I think you'll have to give up like 2 or 3 first round picks to get him. But I think he's worth 2 Firsts esp with his defensive Versatility and with how OKC loves to play hard ass defense
You are crazy if you think they will trade Kendrick Willliams. He is like our Nick Collison. I am tired of all these trade rumors each week. Presti said he probably wouldn't do a major trade in season.
Jerami Grant would be a huge asset. A 4th scorer who can even be 2nd or 3rd option when needed. Plus a good defender with size and reach and a great corner shooter. I doubt any trade for him happens on his current contract. But, he could help put OKC over the top.
Yeah, but how are these major trades? Trading a role player and rookie for someone that would get actual minutes and maybe even start. Would be beneficial for the team. I also think JWill is our modern day Collison, not Kenrich. I do love him, but this is a business, and the end goal is to win a chip.
@@ThunderDigestYT Numbers have to match on contracts that big. We don't need to make a trade we have a great team. How is J-Will our modern Collison. Collison was a vet, and not not a two year young rookie.
I like Grant for the Thunder most as far as potential goes. He's having a down year, but can be a big weapon and provide insurance if/when one of your top players is struggling. His contract would he tough to make work, though.
ZERO PERCENT chance the Thunder trade for Jerami Grant. His contract would destroy the ability to resign both JDub and Chet and would cost you the 3rd year on IHart's deal. All 3 are way more important to OKC's future. Cam Johnson makes more sense with salary and his game in a pisitionless system but Dort would have to be in the trade so it won't happen. If they make a trade, it will be for a 3-4-5 with a short $14m or less salary with high upside they could flip. I could see Timelord or Kessler fitting that criteria and flipping them in the summer instead of giving them huge contracts. If Jonesing4Herb wasn't signed for $13.5m the next ×3 and his 3pt% was better he would make way more sense.
IMO Herb Jones Is The One .. He. A Guard All The Bigger Ball Handlers & Matchup Well With Small Ball 4s .. He Would Take PJ Washington Away & Almost Guarantee A Championship Run .. If We Get To The Finals He Matches Up With JT Perfectly .. That Move Would Make Our Defense Elite .. I’ll Trade Ous .. Topic & A 1st Rounder I Dont See How They Deny That
@ It Just Makes Perfect Sense We Can Still Run Double Bigs .. But When We See Teams Like The Mavs, Celtics, Pacers, Knicks We Need A Small Ball 4 That Can Guard 1-4 .. He Fits In Perfectly Defensively & He Doesn’t Have To Start We Can Still Play The Lineups We Play He Just Adds Major Versatility On Defense & We Would Be Taking On Of The Best SGA Defenders In The NBA Away From Other Teams It’s A Complete Win
Herb Jones and Jeremy Grant are almost a toss-up Jeremy Grant does have a lot more money so that makes it more of a clear option but if I'm looking at just the player and how I believe they would fit our team they seem almost interchangeable in ways
Yeah Grant is super expensive. I love Herb cause he is young and on a cheaper contract, plus would be a great fit in OKC (not to mention keeps Dallas from getting him)
Trade trash for Herb Jones. NO isn't doing that. Or shouldn't. You want a good young player you pay me to get it and it's not giving me trash. Who gives a cr*p about the 3-point shot. It's the most overrated shot in the NBA. Give me a guy who can put the ball in the basket from 2. You win games shooting 2s. You don't win game showing 3s. Give me a 2 and the foul over missing 65% of your shots from 3.
Day"ron Sharpe, Miles Turner, Wendell Carter, Jonathan Isaac

Thank you someone with some sense!

Does JGrant still have gas in the tank?
Herb Jones - great defender 💰🔥

Nobody was upset about us trading Giddy😅
Yes there were. Not me doe
Giddy was soft and didn't continue to progress with off court investigation. Not valuable enough to keep.
#1 Herb Jones
#2 Cam Johnson

Herb is so versatile and can fit into long term plans
I would love to have Dennis or JG back on our team

Herb Jones is the only player I would trade for since he is still young, can shoot threes and is a very great defender.
robert williams and toumani camara
for
ousmane dieng and dillion jones 1 1rst and 3 2nds

I really like him as well, when I saw he was available I knew he would be the perfect addition

Cam Johnson Or Jerami Grant Makes The Most Sense....
What about Herb? Why don’t you want him over the other guys
Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams
I’d take Grant back in a heartbeat! But it doesn’t matter because this team will never when it all as long as Sam is the GM.
Presti hate will not be tolerated.
@ lmao!! I’m sure it won’t be.
You need to use your brain smarter buddy. Also Grant's contract would hurt us soon I'm sure
Grab Herb
trade for kyle kuzma hes the goat
🤨🤨🤨
no lol

What are you going on about bro
I dont think presti is gonna trade kenrich.
