For a normal average height in Asian countries, it's around 150-170cm so, after 170 & above cm that's really tall. That's why it'll be hard for taller people/people with bigger feet than average to find shoes sizes that suit them coz usually companies only cater to average height people. Most of them go for westerner shoes as they have bigger ones.

They’re both like 6”3 which even by western standards is pretty damn tall so yeah they’d be considered huge in Japan

I'm about 197cm, and when I went to japan I was consistently a head or two above EVERYONE, so yeah 190 is pretty much giant by the standards there
