Vanessa Amorosi - Olympic Anthem (Demo)

Over 2 billion people tuned in and watched Vanessa perform 'Heroes Live Forever' at the opening of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, but it's no coincidence that Vanessa landed her biggest gig during the height of her career debut.
In the years prior, thousands of Australian singer/songwriters submitted works for consideration for the opening ceremony, Vanessa included. 'Olympic Anthem' is a demo recorded during the production of Vanessa's debut album 'The Power' - well before her debut release 'Have A Look'.
While the track was not selected, Vanessa was selected to perform 'Heroes Live Forever' written by John Gillard & the Rubba-Gluv-Luv Band. 'Heroes Live Forever' musically evolved from 'Share the Spirit' a track composed by John Gillard as the theme to Sydney's 2000 Games bid:
