Dual recording has been out since the S8. The issue is Samsung keeps changing the names on everything and folks think things are dropped. I would like to see folks do a video comparing it to 360 cameras in vlogging. Good stuff as always.

I think the feature has been missing in some one ui iteration, no? But yeah, sam become so greedy with minimum hardware improvement while playing with software too much, i read most of AI feature now apparently will be removed after sometime😅

Dual Camera it's available since 2013 in the galaxy Note 3 i have one and S24 ultra will hide if only can see all the features in video, photos and photo editor
I wish there was the ability to zoom in and out on the rear-facing camera instead of choosing which rear-facing camera in advance while still being able to save them as previewed or separately, that would be much more useful for me so I could use it to vlog in 4K
5x SusperTelephoto should have beenn one of the options... 3X is not much useful as it is not a good camera. Hope they bring it in update.
Appreciate your deep dives with the camera's. It's the main reason I but the Ultra and you are among the select few doing deep dive reviews!
Dual recording has been out for around 5 years now, but I'm not sure if they took it out and brought it back, or keep changing the name😢😮

The question is: when you save dual streams - are they REALLY the same quality as single streams? Or are they more compressed or something.
So I just tested it: a 10 second video UHD 30fps "normal" is 127MB - while a 10 sec video of one of the dual streams is just 55MB. LESS THAN HALF!
So there is definitely a quality compromise in Dual Recording 😔

Let's talk about the sound quality at the concert. I had the s21+ and as an event photography/video director, I could be right in front of a sub or monitor and get minimal sound distortion even outside of pro video. is the 24+ the same?
I believe it was introduced on note 4...
I am going on a cruise to Alaska in 2 weeks and I plan to use it on my whale watching excursion.
What about S23Ultra is not the same ?
I have the s24 ultra dont use half the amazing features as i like having top notch phone
This was my choice either s24 ultra or fold 5 coming from a iphone 15 pro max glad i picked the ultra
Also iv owned a fold 2 fold 4 on releae day so when you get past the fold form factor it gets boring
How to do this on s23 ultra

It's not brand new. It been available on all the galaxy note phones.....since note 3. Still using my note 20 ultra. Never had a galaxy s phone
