Being in Australia we experience this with every new doll. We dont even have the creepover dolls here yet. so I understand the feeling behind being underwhelmed after so long but I think it's good because it means i don't spend all my money right away.
I'm in Canada, and our wait probably isn't as long, but we are still usually at least a month behind. Rarely, like with Skulltimate Secrets, we are earlier. I do appreciate that by the time a line or wave arrives here, the hype has die down, and something else is usually announced, so I get a chance to have a better perspective of what will be a long-term "keeper" worth buying.

She's really pretty and her crimped hair is cute. Here in Europe (or at least in Ireland) we only got the initial first wave of G3 dolls back in January and except for the car and Clawdeen's bedroom playset that is ALL we have had.

My clawdeen is due to arrive on Saturday!!! I got Frankie first on Sunday and i LOVE them. They’re soooooo cute. And then my draculaura comes supposedly on Friday so I’ll have all three of mine soon! Definitely understand the dip in excitement- especially because we’ve seen so many more upcoming dolls that aren’t released yet that are also exciting. Kinda takes away from the now, but i still enjoy!!
Ahh my Drac arrived today, I'm trying to be patient but I really want to order Frankie lol. Hope your Drac comes in great condition!
@@FaeryTaleDolls update lol: my drac and clawdeen arrived early! They both got here before noon which is a blessing because i have a gig tonight so i was worried drac was going to be just sitting out in the cold until i got back home late. No more waiting!!
I totally agree with your opinion about the wait time between stock photos and doll release. They are still not in my area and the 2nd set is already showing up for sale online.

The Skulltimate Secrets dolls are some of my favorites from G3 so far, but I am so not looking forward to having to store the massive plastic coffins 😅 Also not a fan of the fact that the coffin makes them so expensive. I would much rather them come in regular packaging! I understand the gimmick is fun for kids tho. I would have really enjoyed the lockers when I was a kid! Also, unrelated, but your hair looks so good in this video!
I totally understand feeling less excited because of the wait. Collecting has been really frustrating for me recently because of the time between dolls being revealed and being available to purchase. MH has got it the worst, but other brands are definitely having the same problem.

The unpainted key is supouse to be te last one you find, and the others are in bags so the paint can't damage any accesories 😅

Also yeah same emotions. Especially with us already seeing photos of skulltimate series 2 and ppl saying they're coming in June and I'm like nah they'll be out August tops

I’m not into the G3 but I still like watching the unboxing 😂
My Clawdeen has an overprint on her nose aswell it was quite big but i managed to get it off with nail polish remover
I am in Canada, and I was able to get Draculaura a couple of weeks ago. I like her a lot, but she is probably the only one I am getting from this wave. I am not a huge fan of G3 Clawdeen with the nose paint (although I could remove that, I guess) and the the poly hair. Also, I like some of the characters such as Frankie better in the 2nd wave pictures that have already been circulating. I think the fact that those are out is going to hurt sales of this wave. One good thing is that Walmart here had these on sale for less than the regular dolls, although they sold out quickly.
I hadn't even thought about that, but you're right! Already having stock photos for what's coming up will definitely make some people skip out on this line in favor of the future
I forgot if you mentioned it in the video ( I was reading the comments during the première ) but how do you feel about the price? do you think it's fair?
I think it's a good price! Given that the core G3 dolls are $25, these come with more clothes/the locker for only $5 more (at least in the US) so I'm happy 😊
@@FaeryTaleDolls I am glad that you are happy with the doll. Mattel's pricing can be pretty questionable so feeling like you gotten a good deal is nice.
I originally wanted to get her and Frankie but polypropylene is a Huge turn off for me so I just going to get Draculaura but I also happy about that since I want all of the series 2 dolls so I have extra money for them
I can't wait to see your husband struggle with the key gimmick. He is going to hate it lol

I think this is the best value for a G3 doll. $30 for quite a lot in comparison to what we normally get, this is one the best gifts for a kid right now 100%.
For me though those massive plastic coffins... where am I supposed to put all those 😭 I have ZERO space. I can't even put them on my wall.
I'm getting Lagoona for sure she is my fav from this first series, I'm a sucker for different lip colors give me those aqua lips Mattel yes!
They keep giving Frankie poly hair which ooof I can't. Hopefully series 2 it's saran but it doesn't look like it.
