Thank you! I began learning Eastern Armenian today and this was very helpful. It's hard to figure out how to write a new language when you're learning because computer fonts aren't how letters are actually written.

Thanks for showing the cursive forms of the letters, I don't see enough of it in videos that teach to read Armenian, even though from what I understand people usually write with the cursive form. However, how do you distinguish uppercase Ձ and Ջ in the cursive form? They look identical to me.

I would have thought you are reading Ethiopian Geez alphabet, which some scholars say its where the Armenian alphabet originated from over 1600 yrs ago.
Here are first 4 alphabets with the examples you provided; but in Ge'ez Alphabet
አ አዛጥ አጋንጆህ አም
በ ባድ ባዲቅ ቡዊስ
ገ ጋጋት ጋዛን ጌራዛት
ደ ደናግ ዳስ ዳሳጡ

uhm yeah.. dont wann be rude or sth but "և" is not a letter but a ligature, also you missed there the letter Ւ / ւ (wiwn)
