@ 2:40 ish you can hear the clear difference with the v2 x compared to the other razer mics. You have just helped me with a purchase of one. Amazing video, thank you ♥
I dont hear any background noise at all. Im listening to this with speakers, and I even maxed the volume to hear it, still nothing, but i lost my hearing because I didnt have enough time to volume it down.
IDk you mention background noise but i turned headphones all the way up and still near nothing what I hear might be my headphones. Think this will be fine for discord calls ect at my lil desk. Take care
Hi, your reviews are great because they are very very informative. I want to ask your opinion on another Razer product. The Razer Kiyo Pro. I really like this and it is on special on Amazon. I do a lot of conference calls at night and in natural sunlight, thus the HDR function appears very attractive. However, I have read that the HDR function does NOT work on Zoom or Skype conference calls because it has to be activated via synapse. So, can the HDR function be used in Zoom and Skype. If I cannot use the HDR function in Zoom and Skype calls, is it still worthwhile getting and it will still perform well in conference calls? Thanks a lot.... RY
You can use HDR in Zoom, but you have to perform an extra step. Zoom, like most video conferencing software, has (imo) poor webcam implementation. So it forces your device to its default/automatic settings and tries to overwrite whatever you do to it in Synapse or other programs. The easiest way to deal with that is the following: -First, enable HDR in Synapse, then close the preview window. -Second, open Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). If you don't know about it, there's a lot of quick set up guides. In OBS you can adjust more settings if you'd like. -Third, in the bottom right of OBS click Start Virtual Camera. -Lastly, in Zoom when you select your video source click OBS Virtual Camera instead of the Razer Kiyo Pro. Now OBS is sending an exact feed through Zoom with all your settings intact so Zoom can't revert them. I don't do many conference calls, but when I do I use this method. And to answer the other question, yes I think the Kiyo Pro is worth it as long as it's on sale. Last I saw it was around $110. Great deal, and if you're not in a rush, it might even go lower on Prime Day. And finally, despite that entire process I think the HDR on the Kiyo Pro looks pretty bad anyway, but if you master the exposure and gain settings you can get a pretty good shot even in natural light.
so to sum it up, razer seiren x is better than its v2 model? if not, is it worth to pick an elgato wave 3 because i love the stream mix and self play back mix feature
Sorry for the late reply. Yeah I think the V2 X sounds better than the V2, but others like the V2 sound. For the audio mixing functionality, I'd skip both of these and get the Wave 3 because that software is way more stable.
I have this mic and it is picking up way too much background noise. My wife can be in our bedroom like 50 feet away with the door closed and it picks up her talking on the phone how do i fix this? I have turned down the gain knob as much as i can before it stops picking my voice up but the background noise wont go away. I'm a console streamer without a pc
Unfortunately that's kind of how condenser mics are - really sensitive. On PC you can filter out background noise pretty easily, but not really on console.
If you mute the mic, it's still picking up audio in Razer Synapse. So the limiter will still activate every time it picks up sound above a certain decibel level. No one else can hear it, so it might not matter to you but the mic is definitely not muted.
I only have a few open backs - the Astro A40 and A50 (semi-open back) and the Drop + EPOS PC38X. Of those, the PC38X is true open back, sounds better overall, and has a better mic. But I don't have a big enough sample size to say how it stacks up to other open back headsets.
Of the three Razer mics in this video? They all have pros and cons, so I couldn't say one is the best. The Samson Q2U is probably a better choice than all of them. Of all the mics in the world? No idea, it's preference at that point.

You can probably stop it from waking the computer by going to device manager and turning off "allow this device to wake the computer" for the mic
I don’t even need a mic but I had to watch

How did you put the V2 X on the boom arm? Like how did you take off the support arm?
Unscrew the capsule from the shaft. If you just screw off the bottom base, it won't actually reveal the threading.

Hey man, which mic is the best to eliminate back ground noise in your opinion? I want to play games with speakers lol
Samson Q2U. But no mic is going to naturally eliminate noise that loud coming from right next to it.
Razer seiren v2 x vs Elgato wave 1?
Wave 1 because the software is more stable. But if you don't need the software, I'd get the Samson Q2U over both.
Excellent review.
i dunno what you are going on about but the mute button mutes the mic for me.

Is the Razer Seiren V2 X microphone a 3"8 or 5"8 keyhole?
Can you use it while playing CS2 with a wired headset?
Yeah it works with a wired headset.
Hi,
I'm looking for an open gaming headset with the best possible microphone.
Do you have any recommendation for me?
I only have a few open backs - the Astro A40 and A50 (semi-open back) and the Drop + EPOS PC38X. Of those, the PC38X is true open back, sounds better overall, and has a better mic.

@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews ok, thanks anyway for the answer.
The EPOS PC38X was actually as well in my view.
Which has a better mic quality hs80 usb or pc38x for ps4
What is the overall best mic?
Of the three Razer mics in this video? They all have pros and cons, so I couldn't say one is the best. The Samson Q2U is probably a better choice than all of them.

Hi. Can you tell me which boom arm you're using for V2 X?
Luling Arts Microphone Stand
What kind of pop filter are you using. Because when I look up on amazon it’s all Mini option
It's from a Luling Arts boom arm. Razer (and most mic companies) don't make mic specific pop filters.
Hi, Is there a way for the mic to not pickup the sound from the keyboard?
You can try some of the noise reduction filters in Razer Synapse, but I've gotten the best results from SteelSeries Sonar (free software).
WTH dud, i didn't hear any background noise!
What headphones are you listening with?
Does it work on Ps5?
Does this work with xbox?
Pls review Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 i m planning tu buy but after ur review
Maybe, problem is that I have to buy it out of pocket.
I like gaming and singing karaoke with friends in discord, is this good?
Which Mic arm are you using ?
Luling Arts Microphone stand. Comes with a pop filter and a 3/8 to 5/8 inch thread adapter too. Kinda cheap build but I got it for like $20.
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews thanks
should i get the seiren v2 x or seiren x
V2 X as long as you're okay with never installing Razer Synapse.
But I still think the Samson Q2U is better than both.
samson q2u or razer seiren mini.
that same sound. :D
I'd get the Q2U if it's within budget.
This or the quadcast
