Games back then were fun. No internet so you had to have a “real friend” in the same room to play with. Also it was fun to buy the walkthrough guides at the video game store :)
Dude, Ricky is a champ for having a Dreamcast sitting up there, and as soon as I saw that bright yellow cart I knew exactly what game it was! DK 64 baby! The nostalgia is pouring out of my ears. What do ya got for the dreamcast Ricky? All I ever got to own for mine back in the day was Sonic Adventures, Tomb Raider and Blue Stinger but Blockbuster got a lot of visits from me for their selection.
I was lucky enough to have cousins who's dad was super into video games, tech and gadgets back in the day. My uncle got an old arcade cabinet and rerouted the wiring in the system with both a Dreamcast and Sega Genesis. We were always rocking Sonic, Mega Man, Street Fighter, SoulCalibur, Final Fantasy and my fav Comix Zone!
Goldeneye starting up was epic and brought me right back to the 90s playing that game at a friend's place. Now that's how a game should start! Awesome video.
Thank you for showing those to us. You're right you've opened up a whole can of memories I used to own or played all of those. I would have them still but my mom has a terrible yardsale addiction.
Half the games I played growing up were N64, because my parents couldn't afford new consoles (I'm only 22). I wouldn't have it any other way though, they're truly classics.
Ricky just casually showing off that alternate loading screen for MK64, not even acknowledging that he got gold in all cups in all classes I have been humbly flexed upon
Omg Ricky! I remember all of those so well. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. I really needed that serotonin today. I love your channel. I’m so happy to see another disabled person on UA-cam. You’re just out here living your best life!
I kept waiting for Superman 64 troll..but nope, this was a true nostalgic trip down memory lane. Thanks Ricky. I remember all of these...I sold my 64 years ago. 😭😭
Cartridges last as long as you don't get them dirty, or wet. Store them in room temp. He also probably doesn't jam them into the console harshly like I've seen some do.
I never had an N64 so I don't remember these games from playing them, though I knew of the existence of some of them. And yet I watched to the end of you asking if I remembered them. It was kinda fun guessing what the ones that weren't grey were. I got the Zelda one right, I guessed it was Pokémon Stadium or a Zelda game
My first video game was, the tennis game named PONG on a Magnavox Odyssey console. Later on, if you could afford a PC, it needed an external cassette player to download games. Then it was improved to a 5 1/4 or 3 1/2 floppy disk. 4kB of ram was the shit in those days.
I never personally owned any video game consoles until I was able to purchase the original Wii with my own Christmas gift money whenever it came out. I had plenty of friends that had N64 and other consoles, and it was always a great time when I’d go visit them and play for hours on end!
I remember the secret passages on some of the levels on star fox 64. Alternate ways to beat the levels or ways to go to different planets. Hard but fun game but, Mario Kart will always have a special place n my heart. So much fun and challenging when all the friends would be playing. Lol 4 controllers meant small screen to play on. 😆
I have played all of the Games but dont forget „Secret of Mana“ and „Secret of Evermore“ and „Zelda a link to the past“ and „Super Ghousts n Ghouls“ and „Super Metroid“ and „Bubsy“ and Last but Not least Tom & Jerry & Plokk & F Zero ♥️
Wow Starfox 64 was awesome to hear the intro again! I never did beat that dang Yoshi game. I just couldn’t get past the last level In it. The stupid swords came from every direction constantly and killed you on contact.
As a kid I actually played mostly PC games. Dad wasnt big on consoles at the time, he did have the N64, but all he had for it was banjo tooie and madden 01. I missed alot of the console stuff. I'm also only 20 so I would've caught the tail end of most of these games lifespan anyway.
I loved them all. Great Video without a doubt. But you missed some realy old classics: Pilotwings and Turok Dinosaur Hunter 1+2. Keep on going Ricky Berwick and greetings from Germany
A time when games just turned on an almost instantly ready to start playing, a time where you didn’t need to google how to set up a second player, you just clicked on two players😂
And games were actually finished when you bought them. And you didn't have to pay for extra characters or other bonuses. You got them by PLAYING THE GAME.
The saddest part is in another 10 or 20 years, the battery backup on these games will inevitably fail, I have actually bought duplicates of each one recently. Shrink wrapped. If in a few more years when I am in my fifties, I will still have it! And then I can say to my non existing grandchildren, I still got it!
Little Known Fact: It took Ricky 3 years of constant takes to get a version of this video where all the games started up on the first try. After 1000's of grueling hours he settled when he got this take where only Yoshi Story took an extra try to get booted up.
Thanks, Ricky for giving us a chance to remember our childhood gaming. It was the most fun video game in the 90s.
I was born in 2006, so none of those relate to me.
The nostalgia almost brought a tear to my eye.
My whole childhood in one video

Most of my friends live outside of town and I’m not a big online guy so R.I.P.
Literally brings tears of nostalgia to my eyes. Thanks Ricky for being so awesome🥲😎😎😎
The one thing I'll remember from this video is that Ricky is rough on his N64 games.
Never had an N64 growing up, but I do remember those games.
Me too
0:40 He’s the leader of the bunch, You know him we’ll.
This was oddly relaxing to listen to. Like almost ASMR like.

*Ricky just summed up my entire childhood in a 5 minutes video!*
Ricky just casually showing off that alternate loading screen for MK64, not even acknowledging that he got gold in all cups in all classes

Its kind of amazing that only 1 N64 game did not boot from the first try!
I was looking for this comment. I can't believe more people aren't amazed by this...
My thought exactly
how is every game starting in one try?! that is truly amazing. Ricky got the magical touch
Best classics Ricky! Thank you for bringing all the memories back!
You just made me re-visit some of the best moments in my childhood, thanks Ricky!
"I'm opening up a god damn memory, I know I am !" 🤣
It’s crazy cuz I actually been binge watching all my old games and I’m glad I’m not the only one! This is why Ricky is the BEST!!
Um grande console, com jogos inesquecíveis 🎮
My favorite part is when he says “do you remember this game?“
Ahhhh the Nostalgia is real. Watching this brought back so many memories. Thanks Ricky!!
N64 was really a dream machine
Ricky doing it right with the old-school TV . Best way to play.
Starfox 64 was like a movie with all the talking . Blew my mind in 1996
I kept waiting for Superman 64 troll..but nope, this was a true nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Thanks Ricky. I remember all of these...I sold my 64 years ago. 😭😭
Ricky has great taste! I actively still play these games, they all still hold up incredibly well
Dude, You are a comic genius.
having one balloon left was the best
All fantastic games. I remember them all. I used to own a few of them and wouldn't mind owning them again someday I hope.
I remember pretty much all of these games. Good times.
I'm impressed that Ricky only had to blow a single one game. 😮
Cartridges last as long as you don't get them dirty, or wet. Store them in room temp.
He also probably doesn't jam them into the console harshly like I've seen some do.
There weren't that many games on the N64, but man there was some classics!
I would love to see Ricky in one episode of the Angry Nerd!
I remember ALL of them. Can never forget
1990s and early 2000s we need you back 😢😔
Pisses me off how good his 64 works. No blowing, no constant flicking the switch. No crashes, no freezes on start up. Lucky bastard 😂
3:07….goddamn it. Right in the feels.
Bro, the start up screens were always so satisfying.
My first video game was, the tennis game named PONG on a Magnavox Odyssey console. Later on, if you could afford a PC, it needed an external cassette player to download games. Then it was improved to a 5 1/4 or 3 1/2 floppy disk. 4kB of ram was the shit in those days.
The most surprising thing here is that all of the cartridges worked on the first try.
I remember each and everyone of these because I still play them
I never personally owned any video game consoles until I was able to purchase the original Wii with my own Christmas gift money whenever it came out. I had plenty of friends that had N64 and other consoles, and it was always a great time when I’d go visit them and play for hours on end!

I remember the clicking and start up
Thanks Ricky! This brings back sooo many memories.
Ricky I like almost all of your videos, but I love love love your retro video game vids. Keep ‘em up buddy!
I hate the feeling of nostalgia.
You know I have never been a simp for anyone... except Princess Zelda.
(I was too young to know better)
"Conkers Bad Fur day" was one of the best N64 games ever.
OMG Goldeneye, so much memories with my friends! remember the time where you meet your friends in real life to play together? :)
Mario Kart 64 😍 The hours I put into that game as a kid...
Ricky, I remember ALL those games.
Most playtime of N64 was with Golden Eye.
Greets from The Netherlands.
Wow Starfox 64 was awesome to hear the intro again! I never did beat that dang Yoshi game. I just couldn’t get past the last level In it. The stupid swords came from every direction constantly and killed you on contact.
Ricky jamming to waverace is the best thing i have seen in a while
Man Ricky All of these games brought me back too my happiest days
I still have all my N64 games in box in pristine condition. I have both Zeldas and both Castlevanias (64 and Darkness). 👌
This man never get old.
When games we're complete when you bought them. Good gaming times
Thanks for the memories. Awesome 👌
I remember all those games and plenty of others.. win back, mischief makers, blast corps, hybrid heaven to just name a few.
I felt like this went on for hours who could remember all of them
Inserts my own game for Ricky. "Remember this game?"(sensual black man starts singing) "BABY YA KNOW YOUR THE ONE FOR ME!"
Ricky finally uploads a video over 30 seconds long & it's a 5 minute flex
never change Ricky
I loved them all. Great Video without a doubt. But you missed some realy old classics: Pilotwings and Turok Dinosaur Hunter 1+2. Keep on going Ricky Berwick and greetings from Germany
Ricky brought back alot of memories mad me cry made me bring my 64 out of the garge and set it up once again
Goldeneye is a certified classic
The '90s: you will never understand if you weren't there.
I watched about half this video and then I was like "Yes Ricky damn."
Ricky - *shows off his N64 games*
Nintendo - *enters chat*
1080, Rush 2, and 007 were my favorites
I’ve been on a n64 game buying like a psycho recently
Amazing loading speed for that era. And without broadband fiber
I’m extremely disappointed I’m not an OG and was only born in 2006, and couldn’t feel the amazing nostalgia of all of these
I remember all those games they are fun.
When the punchline is wholesome nostalgia.
he is so adorable when he is happy. does ricky lets plays?
A time when games just turned on an almost instantly ready to start playing, a time where you didn’t need to google how to set up a second player, you just clicked on two players😂

Love the 64. Some of the best games ever.
I played Star Fox when I had my 1st hernia operation. I was all over the field and still loving it
the world needs more people like him in the world
You give me hope in this life. We love you Ricky.
I do remember all these games!! Ur the best Ricky it’s ironic I’m also remembering all my old games. If I could subscribe to u more than once, I would
The saddest part is in another 10 or 20 years, the battery backup on these games will inevitably fail, I have actually bought duplicates of each one recently. Shrink wrapped. This man flexing all the classics.🔥🔥🔥

I was 14 in 97, I had a younger sister and two younger brothers, Majoras Mask and Twilight were (chefs kiss). Can't wait for BOTW2.
I remember playing starfox all summer long inside of blockbuster video. Great video Ricky
Dude I was waiting for Ricky to do Star Fox 64 and he does it at the very end 😹
"we need your help starfox" GIVE ME THE CONTROLLER RIGHT NOW!
