Wow, that's surprising, that you went through all that health-wise, you look extremely healthy! You did an amazing job at recovering and not surviving, but thriving! Much respect. I can't believe this video doesn't have more views, your channel has vital information, instead of the videos about the 'IC diet' unhelpful stuff

How I wish I could see your beautiful, skillful self, but alas, I love in the dystopia that is the US. Thank you for these and your existence.

Amazing chat. I’ve noticed your scar on other presentations and wondered the story, scars are absolutely part of the path of how and who we are. I have a huge scar up the back of my neck and skull which I also wear proudly, my memento of a rare brain stem tumor that nearly killed me at 25. I absolutely adore your attitude and clinical approach and now feel privileged to understand part of the why.

Wow... I just saw this for the first time. Your words and expressions conveyed your passion, empathy, and caring for patient self empowerment. I am recovering from RALRP and seeing a PFPT. I started seeing her due to chronic pelvic floor neuralgia that I attribute to being a spin instructor prior to surgery. The surgery has tripled my PF pain. Some pain was to be expected. Getting ready for surgery, I was surprised that it was all going to be about relaxation and breathing, not strengthening; in fact, my pfloor was too tight (hypertonic?).In the first two sessions, I experienced this flood of emotions that I was connecting to something much deeper than pain relief; a level of trust that wiped away decades of emotional baggage and physical tension. I have yet to understand it fully. Don't know if I ever will. But I do know no other treatment or self care I have experienced has done more to connect my mind and body to my spirit-soul. I am looking forward to the next sessions to recover from that epoch surgical experience (I don't know how else to describe it). In the longer term, it changes my thinking and awareness of what I used to think was good for me (giving everything 120%). Thx for lighting up our lives!

I've gone from despair to hope...THANK YOU.I found you by accident looking for information on managing my recent prolapse after hysterectomy three years ago. I'm 53 and vaginal ring pessaries haven't worked . I'm on a (very long - years -)waiting list to see a gynaecologist about surgery. I also have kentera patches for urge incontinence. At last I have found the clearest information on pelvic floor exercises. I'm going to tell my GP to recommend you,to save other women hours looking for information which as you say isn't always correct! You are so right about empowerment!
What a story you tell . You have so much to give and I'm glad you are as well as you can be by managing your health..
Thank you and very best wishes!

This is very good information. I hear you say the hard part that you are a patient. I want you to know by you sharing your story and your why is powerful! I find it very helpful for me in my journey in life when people I Look to for help tell me their stories and it makes me feel like they can relate and understand some of my struggles. Please don't ever let anything shut you down from sharing your story ever. I'm so thankful I came across your video! I'm not sure what I was searching for but I really needed this so I can help my patients better. Thank you!

You are so awesome! I can't tell you how encouraging this is. I am just the women you describe at the beginning. I have all her symptoms and have been trying to put the pieces together. To hear she had success means so much! I've, also, been having such trouble sleeping, averaged struggling to get one hour for a whole week and no doctor did anything. :( It would've meant so much to have a doctor following up. My PT is away for a month, so I will figure this out. I saw your Therawand video, got it today, and will begin tomorrow. I do hope I will begin to improve.

You have been so encouraging to me and after listening to this video I feel empowered to continue managing my own pelvic floor issues. I have purchased a therawand and will work with my pelvic floor therapist to learn to use it myself. You are awesome! Thank you so much for what you do!

This video has brought me to tears I am pbs and it is ruining my life. I have seen so many doctors and specialists but all they've done is tell me to take pills that isn't helping. I really need to see a pt like you who understands I feel like Jane and I need help.
