My step-dad is really harsh to our dogs. They just don’t have a proper training. They used to stay in the big basement, but they never really went outside. Now, since our basement is getting fully redone and the basement walls are completely gone, they’re in our small laundry room/bathroom. I’ve tried to convince him ways to help our dogs, and he’s agreed to some but they’ve never happened. Is there anyway I can try to help my doggos ? Update:I sunk downstairs and gave them water, my older dog looked awful. His nose felt so dry and looked very crusty. There is a big bed spring that blocks getting to them, and I tried just getting a cup and letting them slurp out of it, but they aren’t tall enough to reach it. Plus one of them always steals from the other. And now I know this sounds awful but it was the least I could do. I got a spray bottle and sprayed their faces, trying to aim for their mouths. It worked! My older dog, when he’s happy he smiles, and big! It the most I’ve seen in forever, because I can never see them.
