Just bought a 2000 model with 80 K on the clock..excellent all round Bike.
pulled away from rest in 2nd gear...it reached 58 Mph before the redline..
Performance is plentiful.
a Honda classic...
I'm still running a 2002 Deauville. 16k a year commuting in all weathers. Top bike, but not for poseurs.
yea looks like, i think i buy one next year, after i get my driver's license .... i dont like this poser shit, i want a good bike with comfort and so.
Could that bloke sound anymore depressed?
Next week he probably test rides a gsxr1000 across Europe and complain every inch of the way about how his wrists hurt and the storage capacity is crap. Weird review, these are great bikes. Reliable, practical, comfortable, cheap to run, handle great and stop well.
He's the type who'd think it but wouldn't admit it because he's all about ego.
Seems absolutely the wrong person to test this bike. He wants one thing and gets something completely different. He's dead wrong about the looks, the Deauville is one of the most stylish bikes on the road.
He probably dreams about riding a Six Cylinder Honda full race bike..watching this Video for the second time....his unfettered Joy is amazing!!
I often used to cover 320 miles in a day. Two up with camping gear.
I've had my 2008 model for two weeks now and am just getting used to its handling. It isn't a sports bike, but it will lean over far enough to scrape the road if you need to, I try not to if I can help it but sometimes the brakes don't scrub off quite enough speed if ABS kicks in. Keep to sensible riding and it is a fantastic motorcycle.
I hate to say it but M&M put together absolutely awful bike reviews.
No BHP, no MPG, Nothing about the optional extras, no detailed explanation on the luggage compartments, the clocks, dash etc etc.
The guy sounds half dead! At least get a bike expert to put together a review, not some chap that looks like Mr Gadget.
Lame.
well said...
0:07 that fake laugh lol
This guy is actually an unconvicted assassin! .A hitman for hire that leaves none of his DNA or evidence on his victims. Forensics call him the "Tox screen terror" as he leaves no trace after BORING THEM TO DEATH!!! . . .The ironic arrogance of him. Big eejit, even a mellow Honda Deauville is wild compared to him.
He is a Relative of Arthur Pewty?..(Python)?.Lol.
Hope to feck he doesn't review bike's for a living scuttering gobshite
Heavy bike? try a 1300ST, or a goldwing. 236 Kilo's ain't heavy.
its the perfect bike when its used how it was designed to be used!..get back on your sports bike sid !
well said, like asking a horse what it thought of a Marmite sandwich...if you nothing else, and listened to him pre buying a Deauville...you wouln't buy it!!
Should of put him on a Honda melody
or a wheelchair back to his carehome...what a boring asshole.
It boils my piss why nearly every reviewer seems to unfairly compare what they're riding to bikes in a completely different class. Give us a proper review not a game of Top Trumps on how much shitter this is to a Mike Hailwood replica
Exactly!
That fellah should stick to sports bikes , he's obviously a speed freak.
A Wannabee Speed freak..the Deauville is so suited to it's Purpose..which doing High mileages on a safe , Comfortable and utterly Reliable Motorcycle.
This guy sounds so bored. He clearly isn't suited to that type of bike.
probably because he was a flop! @Andrew Young
Men and Motors…..thank good times are changing.
Just another British Whinger, is there anyone who has an ounce of enthusiasm about anything??? Awful review (I am a Brit so stop right there).
Yeah because only Brits moan don't they, fuckhead?
How to do for the brakes
It's not a 2004 with Brembos
That guy is an airhead who is obviously not a biker
en français s'il vvous plait
ehm.. Write a script maybe?
The Deauville is not heavy, enough of the heavy crap, a runt your size would call a CG125 heavy.
