IM so happy that I found this channel. It's so relaxing and inspires me to shoot film photography. I normally use a Nikon D3400 and now in planning to invest into a film camera.
Thank you so much for enjoying my channel!! Glad that you liked it! I think film photography is all about experiments and challenges with joy and excitement. Have a try, and let me know if you have any questions!
This channel was a lucky find when I researched for analog cameras. I am thinking of buying a yashica electro 35 gsn or a olympus 35 rc. Haven't decided yet^^ I am happy that I found this channel. Your reviews are very competent and shot very well! For an easy start I bought a cheap olympus af1 twin point and shoot camera (I was fascinated with the two lenses). Hope I can shoot a few good photos with it. Anyways, I am looking forward for your new reviews :)
Thank you for enjoying my channel!! Really glad that my channel helped you! Have a great time with your camera :) I hope I can upload new episode soon!
when you loaded the film up, does the photo counter start at 1? I got one today and it says "S" so wasn't sure if maybe mine was broken. ill be taking it out to test this week.
Brooo. I want to ask. all the sample pictures in the video you took, did you only use Canon Prima 5? because I want to try using the same camera. This sooo cooll🙏🏻🙏🏻
first time dropping by! Love your style of your video. I started a channel of my own talking about film cameras too! But my videos are much more lazy.. haha. subcribed!
Hi, I was just wondering why you don't add Korean subtitles to your videos? I think you will get a lot more viewers. Just curious about that part. Thanks :)
Thank you for your comment! I get lot of questions about Korean subtitles. I thought of doing so, but haven't tried them out haha.. might do them later! I was just doing this channel to let people know about old gears, so I try to leave a comment for most of the comments! If you have any question in Korean, feel free to ask! I'm not sure this would be an answer to your question, but thanks for your interests! :)
I know it's been a year since you asked, but there are metal contacts in the film loading area that automatically detect the film iso by making contact with the shiny area of the film roll (not sure of the official name).
I'm currently using 4 LR44(1.5v each) with adapter to make it 6v. you can get an adapter from ebay around $5~6. Here are some links: www.ebay.com/itm/ADAPTER-ONE-BATTERY-for-YASHICA-ELECTRO-35-GL-GSN-GTN-GT-AX-SLR-y-MG-1/153099633358?hash=item23a57302ce:g:LDkAAOSwYlRZHeiz:rk:1:pf:1&frcectupt=true www.ebay.com/itm/BATTERY-ADAPTER-for-YASHICA-ELECTRO-35-G-GS-GT-GSN-GTN-MG-1/232966097406?hash=item363ddc89fe:g:rewAAOxycmBS9pir:rk:22:pf:0 However, there are some other ways to run this camera. The camera was designed to run by 5.6v mercury battery that they don't make it anymore nowadays. So to use this camera you need to make 6v with one of the many different combinations of alkaline batteries. 4 LR44(1.5v) batteries with adapter 2 LR44(1.5v) with 1 CR123(3v) (you can use it by attaching them with tape no adapter is needed) 0.4v difference does not affect when using a camera. The combination of 2 LR44 with 1 CR123 work just fine, but I'm using a 4 LR44 with adapter because it is just quick than attaching with tapes..
Hey! My camera was working perfectly fine but somehow the dial is now messed up and it doesn’t count the right number with the expose so i’m missing out on a lot of exposure. I was wondering if you knew how to fix a problem like that?
Thank you for asking! Hmm.. I haven’t seen those problem on my camera.. I guess the best solution is to visit local repairing shop.. Sorry that could not give you helpful information..
@@plusalphastudio Sorry then, the quality for close objects looks much better than for distant and landscape, that's why I thought it was edited. I conclude that these lens work better for close-up subjects and less well for landscape
No worries. When I do reviews, I only use original pictures! Hmm not sure why the closed up picture look batter.. May be I’m use to take closed up pictures and that’s why? I think I should practice some more on landscape I guess. Thank you for your comment!
@@plusalphastudio About the better close up pictures, I have a 'theory' - I call it theory because I haven't read about this anywhere else. I believe these 'compact' small size lenses used in point of shoot cameras, are better optimized for close focusing distances. The same is true with digital compact cameras. I have an older small Panasonic digital camera that takes literally stunning close ups - such quality I can't believe it's from the camera if I wouldn't took them myself. These close-ups are being taken with zoom in macro mode, and focusing as close as possible. Yet for objects 5 or more meters away the image is rather mediocre.
Have you try to change a battery?? Normally point&shoot camera does not break easily.. What do you mean S?? Where does it shows? I hope you can fix yours soon :)
I wish I seen this video a year ago! The T4 IS SO OVERRATED ! I spent $400 for it! If I could give anyone advice DONT BUY A CAMERA WITH AN AUTO FLASH! Get a camera that gives you the option to leave the flash off whenever you want! Get the canon sure shot or auto boy before prices go up

Great little camera, I have the canon sure shot max without the date feature!😊
Great review! Very thorough and I like the fact that you included samples too
Thank you for enjoying my video!! :))

great review, really appreciate the 4k quality
Thank you!
I was hoping you would spend a minute on how to set the date on the Telemax. :)

I think mine start from S (start) too! Have a great time with it!
Very nicely done. On the MAX date what is the data bank on the back of camera for?
On the max date model, you can set the date on your photo! On the right down side of the photo I guess
Keep in mind the max date it allows you to set is 2019. You can turn off the date, which makes the Max Date just the same as the regular Max.
Yap! You are correct! Great information haha
Brooo. I want to ask. all the sample pictures in the video you took, did you only use Canon Prima 5? because I want to try using the same camera. This sooo cooll🙏🏻🙏🏻
Yap!! All the photos are from prima 5!
Does the sure shot max date version require a separate battery to run the date function?
yes! you need to put battery on the cover!

Great! I know it is hard to upload video on time... I hope I can make videos soon too. Cheers!

How do you set what iso you’re shooting? Is it auto or is there a way to change asa

What battery do you use? I have that same camera and I have not been able to find a place where they sell the battery ;(

How do i know which film to buy? can you help please
Sorry for late response. I know it is not a perfect answer, but the best way is to try them out one by one!! I'm still doing that! :)
nicely explained
Thank you!!
Did you edit the pictures in Lightroom ? We really shouldn't edit pictures in any way when reviewing a camera
I didn’t edit any pictures in lightroom. All the images are original images that has been scanned!

What does the S mean?
