The Bears are the only organization that could create such a disastrous losing and finger-pointing culture! The sad part is they don't show any shame. Bears fans need to boycott buying tickets and force these buffoons to sell the team to someone who actually gives a damn about winning!

Zero chance they're selling a multi Billion dollar a year business because fans don't like how they make their money. The Bears are Ran more like an attraction. This is the business Model. Make max money by spending less. Wins and Touch downs is not the reason who own a football team.

What do I want from this season? I want to get as close to that 5th pick in the draft as possible. The higher the draft pick the better its trade value. With a terrible free agent class on the horizon, this team needs to grab as many players from this draft class as possible with multiple holes in the trenches. Get the highest pick you can so you can trade back.

Just goes to show Coaching matters and ownership matters. I have ZERO faith in George and the McASSkeys staying OUT OF THE WAY. Let Poles hire the next head coach without Warren or a 'committee', but George just can't help himself. GM needs to be married to the coach. Mark my words, George will eff this whole thing up. He'll be involved with hiring the new HC and then cut ties with Poles. Ownership is a joke.

    Who I am calling out:
D'Andre Swift: Being 47 years old and 300 lbs, I could just as effectively get 1-2 yards up the middle every time. He is one of the biggest reasons the Bears are in 3rd and long, one of the biggest reasons we cannot score on the goal line, and why we cannot convert 4th and short.
Caleb: I mean, C'mon man, you had guys wide open at 10 yards over the middle. Troy Aikman is saying "Not just open, but WIDE OPEN". And it happened all night. GET RID OF THE DAMN BALL.
Rome: Bad drop in the end zone on a very catchable ball
Allen: Amazing sideline catch once. Horrible drop a few targets before that.
Kiran Amigadie: Multiple penatlies, allowing blind-side blow by's leading to fumbles. (Never draft Ivy League)
    T. Brown: Weak play calling all night
Tez: Where have you been all damn season?????
Poles: All of the above, and I cannot mean it more. (And this is where I have finally turned on you, for sure)

Great reporting & information! Enjoy the content and all the detail you've put together! It's been a disappointing season for the Bears, but I'm not out on Caleb or Ryan Poles as of right now. The bright spot is that Caleb can use this season as a great learning experience and to put a chip on his shoulder to never have a losing season again. That's the hope at least. With Poles, I still stand with him. His contributions, although far from perfect, have been more positive than negative. Caleb needs a no nonsense HC and a good play caller for next year. Given time and the right coaches around him, Caleb Williams can be an elite QB with long-term success. Otherwise it'll just be another loop in the cycle that has become the Bears HC/QB situation. Let's go Bears!

There we were, in the off-season, getting all giddy about the new additions and possibilities for this team. There was so much positive coverage by the media. The team's future looked bright! Then we go 4-0 in the pre-season. We were also featured on HBO's Hard Knocks, which felt special. There was a sense in the air that we were on the right track. We continued to get our hopes up as we went 4-2 to start the season, with those losses being win-able games. Chicagoans were finally starting to get happy about having a quarterback. Then came the Hail Mary, and the rest was history. Another losing season for the Chicago Bears. Go figure... And you know we're going to go through the same hoopla next year, no matter the GM, no matter the HC. But now I know not to get my hopes up. Now I know just how bad things can get, no matter how optimistic the season seems to be going.

3 things stood out to me. 1 Caleb is freaking out when he has a "clean" pocket and looking to get out of there too soon (that is a product of getting sacked over 50 times)
    2. Tremaine Edmunds sucks as a middle linebacker, maybe move him to the Sam or Will, I don't know but he can't play the Mac.
    3. Our safties play in outer space and have NO clue when to come up and make a play.
Side note: Alot of times our WRs are ALL running routes at the same depths, all going deep, all running 10-15 yard crossers, or all running 5 yard routes, I just don't get it.
Whoever is the next HC has their work cut out for them. There is talent on this team and more talent coming thru free agency and the draft, they HAVE to get this HC hire right, they just have to.

  • @elicantu1939
    @elicantu1939 3 дні тому +2

But the overall blame goes to Ryan Poles for putting Caleb in this situation in the first place. How do you bring in a rookie and expect him to have success behind this sucky o-line? Then pick Odunze at 9!
I’m not saying those players aren’t good or that they’re busts, but we need o-line!
We should have kept Justin, traded down from 1st overall, drafted a lineman, then Jared Verse, signed 2more lineman in FA, and Derrick Henry instead of Swift. Then in 2025, if JF still struggled draft a QB then because now you have an elite/to better than average o-line that you can put a rookie behind.
And I don’t know who’s fault it was that we didn’t sign Harbaugh but Poles should’ve fought tooth and nail to get him as the Bears Head Coach!

    • @DionysusAlS
      @DionysusAlS 3 дні тому

The problem is, the 2025 qb draft class is historically weak, and the consensus was that Williams was a generational talent. In hindsight, Daniels would have been the better pick, but it's likely that he wouldn't have flourished in the toxic environment that is the Bears either. At this point, I say they should trade Williams for whatever draft capital they can get, go with Bagent (he might actually end up being really good), and go into rebuild mode yet again.

@ to be a legit contender you need an elite o-line. If Poles addresses this in the offseason we would be much better than we are now.
And if Henry sees that, he signs with the Bears and agrees to be in a fantastic running duo with JF behind an elite line! And we are winners.
Instead, we drafted a qb and a wr and the qb is getting destroyed and the wr’s dad is bitching cos his son doesn’t have better stats!

It’s very surreal how we got to this point. Hard to imagine based on how hard they worked on the roster. We need to emphasize how we hire coaches more than anything this off-season. Once that is in place, we will at least be in the mix of above average teams. One $16 million dollar salary for an experienced top coach is the price of one top player, but that one coach affects all 53 men in the locker room to bring out their best talents more than anything. And when he sees a man open it's to high, wide, short. If he wants to win he better start improving. Gave up 14 points last night because of terrible throws. The line can't hold or expected to for 7-8 sec. But not to worry, in two years they will draft another quarterback.

Sit him and Kenan Allen down for the next 3 game's. Allen not coming back so play Tyler Scott get his speed out there let's see what he can do these next 3 game's. Play Tyson Bagent and let Caleb sit and learn from the sideline watching Bagent get rid of the ball quicker. There is nothing for Caleb to play for beside getting hurt.

    Week15
    -Mistakes
    Caleb:
    Poor Accuracy (7)
    Missed Reads(6)
    Kiran:
    Missed blocks(4)
    Penalties(4)
    Wright:
    Missed blocks (1)
    Tev:
    Missed blocks (2)
    Shelton:
    Missed blocks(1)
    Allen:
    Drops (3)
    Rome:
    Drops (1)
Everett and Kmet with 1 vital missed block each
    Drive1: TO on downs
-3rd&2, Caleb bailed out of a clean pocket and missed open WRs
-4th&1, hat on a hat call but Kiran missed his block
    Drive2:
    -Good play designs to DJ
-Caleb finally takes a check down and gets 11
-Screen to Rome, should have been an illegal man down field on Kiran
-1st&10, Shelton gets the “can opener” and gets put on the ground as well as Tev but Caleb missed his hit read to Rome on the A-gap blitz. Threw it away
-Kiran too slow and get Caleb killed for the sack fumble
    Drive3:
1st&10 from the 40, bad check by Caleb with not enough blockers for run play
2nd&9, Kmet missed block in the hole off of a good check by Caleb which should have been a HUGE run and maybe a 60yard TD
3rd&7, Caleb stepped up well but threw it lunging forward right to H.Smith. If he slowed himself down mentally, he could have flipped it to the back for the 1st
    Drive4: 3&out*free 1st with penalty
3rd down, Rome slightly over ran the hole in the zone but Caleb hesitated causing it to be too late
Caleb finally takes his underneath pass to Kmet for a 14 and a 1st
3rd&medium, Caleb scrambles for the 1st while everyone was covered. Called back for Kiran holding (beat to outside again)
4th&1, Kiran driven back and Everett blocks no one until it’s too late. Turnover on downs
    Drive5:
-1st&10, Kiran get beat around the end but does a good job pushing his guy out of the play. Caleb looks at Swift wide open but chose to try to be Superman again, ends up throwing it away. Ends up being a hold
-great throw to Allen for a 1st vs zone
    -Allen drops a quick out
-2nd&10, inaccurate screen pass to DJ that should have been picked but DJ saved it for 2 yards
-3rd&8, terrible throw by Caleb to Allen which would have been a huge play and 1st down (WIDE OPEN)
    Drive6: FG
-1st&10, Lewis misses block entirely in Swift run
-free play on offsides, gets it to Rome for a big gain
-Has Allen wide open in the end zone but Caleb misses the throw. Had time but didn’t set feet
-great blocks by Kiran and DJ on the Swift run down to the 1
-Kramer no report then very soft call on the holding on Kiran
-2nd&goal, great job of getting separation by Rome and Caleb missed high
-3rd&goal, Caleb sits in the pocket for 4 seconds before escaping and throwing what would have been a TD to Rome but Allen jumped in front and dropped it
    Drive7: FG
-Refs blew a free play dead…
-3rd&3, Tev gets beat which flushes Caleb out right for a really nice play by Allen. Not a good throw by Caleb. Room to run if he keeps it in bounds
    -3rd&11, Kiran false start
-3rd&16, Kiran illegal man down field (soft, 1.5yards) Vikings had this exact flag picked up but much more egregious
    Drive8:
-Caleb takes a check down finally for 5 yards
-Caleb holds the ball too long on screen (2.5sec) allowing defenders to rally
-sacked on 3rd down (2.5sec), sent 5 with no hot reads in routes
    Drive9: TD pass
-Hot throw but poor throw to Allen, behind him causing him to be hit and drop it
-Caleb checks to max protect and makes a nice escape and throw to Allen for 1st
-Another hot read 0-coverage to Allen, good throw but dropped
-Caleb checks to max protect but they bail and Rome drops a great throw in the end zone
-Inaccurate fade ball to Allen, back shoulder was there
-Steps up in the pocket with a rifle to Allen for TD

Doug Kramer also fumbled the ball at the goal line situation earlier. Time to let him go. Coaches certainly did not do their job to get this team ready. However, Caleb also has to show some responsibility. Two issues - lack of decisiveness (where to go with the ball) and lack of accuracy. He looks deep first and always misses the underneath easy completion. Not sure how's taught about progressions. But his accuracy issue is troubling. The game has not slowed down for him which is troubling for his development. Need a new coaching staff next year.

His stats means nothing! Frankly you all read way too much into stats. I'd rather have a QB with 2300 yards, 15 TDs than a QB who just stand around taking sacks. Caleb's inability to let the ball fly is far more concerning than his lack of field accuracy.

When are the players going to look at themselves? Players taking accountability for mess ups each week is getting tiring and thinking that covers them is stupid. They are paid millions of dollars to perform, dropping balls that hit their hands, overthrowing wide open receivers, or not reporting in when required is not a coaching, general manager or owner problem. Those levels have their own problems but they don’t play during the game.

He's added a ton of talent, and if we can flood the trenches with top tier players in the 2025 draft, then very well it could all come together pretty quickly. Also isn't it spelled frustrations 😏

Yeah Caleb needs to take more responsibility for his trash play over throwing receivers and the inaccurate passes plus holding on to the ball way to long. He is not that guy. Couldn't beat a top 20 defense or a top 20 team in college football. I was never sold on all the hype the put on him. Plus he was bad at reading defenses. Go and actually watch those games and stop just watching highlights.smh
