TRIVIA: This is pre-recorded performance already. Marielle started to develop nodules here due to non stop rehearsals and tapings. During her rehearsals for himala her voice was completely unstable almost gone for time being. This was her last shot to enter finals, she just prayed and gave it her all. She believed that it is not her own voice singing this song anymore but a borrowed voice from above to pull off this iconic performance. Indeed a miracle for her!

She's not like the other contestants, because she doesn't have to show off or birit all the time to impress, she just captivates people with her voice.. When she sings, she sings with so much emotions and soul. Tagos talaga sa puso. At ang linis talaga nya kumanta. Bet ko siya manalo, kahit dati pa. I hope she wins the Grand Finale and I hope its no text votes... Because text votes just mean its a popularity contest, not a singing competition. I've noticed songs from the local bands like rivermaya, kamikaze, eheads, etc... have shifted into a better piece only if the singer has realized the meaning of the song and be able to deliver it well. I remember, I once sang her version of "Himala" in our school, way back 2018. It's actually a contest and that's my audition piece. I really never expected to win, but my goal there is to sing the song flawlessly. So, before I step on the stage, I left my eye glasses on the committee's table in order for me to see less audience while I'm performing. So the moment I step on the stage, I felt so heavy, I got nervous and ofcourse scared. But I did stop thinking, I close my eyes saying/initializing to myself that I'm alone, think that this would be the last time, took a deep deep breath.... Then..... While singing I really enjoyed the moment, there's this part of my performance when I was hitting high notes then suddenly the wind makes me feel like I'm floating and my friends/classmates told me that they also feel that certain moment. After my performance, I was really happy, not just because I received compliments but because I know, I did great and it's like miracle (HIMALA) that ate Marielle's version of this song was sang and performed by me. I was so happy that time, to the point that I'm contented to my performance and was not really expecting to win and it's like okay to me that I'm just average. Huhuhu just sharing it with you guys, so that if ever you're doubting yourself always remember that there's me, who take risk and there's nothing wrong with it. Do what you love, 'cause at the end of the day there will be no changes in the saying "We only live once"
