I agree with that. As a schoolmate of Marielle, I've witnessed her a lot of times already. Been with her to a lot of performances and I've never heard someone gave bad comments about her because when she sing, she will always give her very best. I just don't understand why people kept on saying that Marielle's voice is not that powerful to be hailed as the top performer of this Quarter. Clearly, her power is shown in the way she moves people's hearts. Her power is not expressed through "birits", but is clearly shown on how she uses her voice to touch lives and create a cringe in our hearts.
I watched all her performances for the entire week. Perfect lahat. Her high and low (notes) register have been perfectly executed. Nilalasap niya yung every words na kinakanta niya which I like the most. She should pick more difficult songs since one of the criteria is the difficulty of song choices but all in all, she's an outstanding singer (at 17 years old). Nakikita ko sa kanya si Regine at Lani. Yung pinaghalo. This just my observation as a voice coach. Ciao
