If you're looking for a scenic hike that will leave you feeling energized and satisfied, look no further than Harney Peak! This hike is perfect for anyone looking for a challenge, and you'll be able to see some of the most beautiful scenery in the Black Hills on your way up!
This was a challenging hike in places and Route 4 is the more strenuous of the ways up, but it also affords the best views. We didn't get as good vistas on our way down Trail 9. If you're up for the challenger, route 4 is the way to go up. Our tracker clocked us at 9 miles for this hike.

Amazing hike with lots of scenery. Wow 9 miles round trip. That would be an all day adventure for me.
This was one of a favorite hikes. Tough though! It absolutely took us all day 😂😂
