I'm a big fan of Hope for many years. My Hope Pro 2 Hub is running great for 12 years now. And I can still get any replacement part. Much respect to this company 🙌
Wonderful to see how you guys have progressed since I first had the pleasure of working with you some 20 odd years ago. You have grown out of sight whilst maintaining the finest quality for all your parts. Your products and passion are second to none. Be proud guys, you have put the UK bikes and bike parts at the very top of the list!!!!
Love what you do, I used to teach people to build fast jets, the attention to detail, the quality coupled with great looks and performance mean I will always be a fan.
I've managed to bag the original gravel bike, a Cannondale Slate, and my Hope RX4+ calipers have just been delivered. The quality and value of them is outstanding!
In 2019 I was fortunate enough to have a new XC bike built and fitted with a X2 Uno brake system. Without Hope, my bike wouldn’t exist, wouldn’t be as safe. I would (and have) bet my life Hope quality and support.
I run your hubs, brakes, headsets etc you name it, none of which has ever broke on me. It's still mindblowing how you can make such a precision products at reasonable cost in the UK.
Love Hope, I've been using their stuff since the 90s. Although, in the early days, my front disc did warp when I heaved on the front brake, locking up the front wheel on my Orange P7 Pro SE. Unbolted the rotor and rode home. Great to see them getting bigger and stronger.
Without a doubt the very best bike components manufacturer in the world, the quality is second to none & best of all it’s manufactured in the UK, keep on doing what you’re doing-it works well…! 👍🏻
Where Hope are now is truly superb. I went for the HB916 18 months ago after 30+ years MTB and never having owned a carbon bike. It’s nothing short of brilliant for here in the Lakes or the Highlands. The Hope Tech 4 V4 have been fit and forget too. Just seems like a package that was made by people that ride the same stuff as me and want it to either last or be repairable should it have an issue. Hard to see how you can get a nicer looking bike than the Hope HB 916. Supporting and buying British from an almost local company is just the icing on the cake.
Congratulations on your well deserved success. I've had nothing but Hope brakes and hubs on my Oranges since 2000 and the one time I had a leaky master cylinder you sent me bits to do both brakes when I only had a problem with one of them. Keep up the good work.
Every bike I’ve built since 2001 has had Hope something or other on it. Hubs, brakes, rotors, wheel sets, the product is amazing. I’ve just built my first gravel bike and have the RX4 callipers. Needed help setting them up. Advice from Johnny in customer service was spot on. Nice to meet the rest of the team. All best from Switzerland…. On on.
I love you guys...Anodised black caliper, and gold cylinder bore caps, mono minis are the most beautiful brakes in the world. ❤ (running an old retro pair.......still fine)
Every Hope component i have owned over the last 25 years has been a pleasure to use .Imagine if Hope got into producing ebike motors that where not only reliable but fully serviceable that you could retro fit on any bike .
Always amazing quality & finish.... Loving the new F22's I've now got two pairs 😅 I wouldn't trust carbon handlebars from any other manufacturer 👌 Keep doing what your doing 💪 🇬🇧
I have been riding Hope components since the beginning of 2002, and every bike I owned I changed brakes and other small components out for Hope. Incredible quality and looks, if it wasn't for the industry standards that changed I would still riding most of the components as they are indestructible. Moreover all small replacement parts allow you to keep your components up and running! Best MTB product and brand out there by far!!!!!
Hope stuff is such great quality. I have a pair of hope monos, they've done thousands of miles, everything is serviceable. Probably been using them for 15 years on my old trek. Only needed to replace the pads... and seals once and a piston when the bike blew off a roof rack in a storm. Love the look of bits they make always look nice. I always buy them no matter what the bike actually comes with
I'm 110kg and surrounded by steep hills, used to go through one or two rear wheels a year until I got some Pro4 Hubs built up - never looked back, best bit of bike gear I've ever bought.
Its good not just that hope make parts but also come and provide rewards at the pmba enduro races, I have full hope components on my full suspension and my sister has an academy hardtail thanks a lot to the academy and hope❤❤❤
Still have my first Hope product, a 35mm seat clamp, got it back in 2005, also still have my first set of Hubs, Pro2 SS/Trials OG with the double bearings in the freehub, that was changed shortly thereafter to a single roller bearing because they've used to blow up regularly. Aside from them, I also have a set of Mono Mini brakes and 5 other sets of hubs (2s & 4s) laced into wheels. Would love to get a set of brakes, but hate DOT fluid because it's so hydroscopic, whereas mineral oil is hydrophobic, DOT doesn't work well down here in the Tropics and wouldn't expect it does better in UK type weather, so don't quite understand the argument/use of it TBH 'cause once it's absorbed some water, that higher than mineral oil boiling point quickly gets a lot lower than mineral oil.
What can we say, Just a wonderful british company, a blueprint that all companies should emulate in the UK. I bought the one of the first disc brakes and have had everyone since. I would use anything other than Hope period. Really proud to have Hope products on my Bike brand. Lastly, just look at the respect Hope have for every single employee and vice versa. It oh so pays to value your workers.
i love the brand and the quality. i have hope brakes, rims, hubs, BB, chainrings on my bikes. i scoff at youtube videos of 'dream builds' and people put sram cranks and brakes on their bikes. these people don't even dream higher. if you have a dream bike, then it's got to be platered with hope everything.
My next (and first) own bike build will have Hope Pro 5 hubs and Tech4 brakes ... it will be a flat-bar titanium (potentially single speed) gravel tracklocross bike. Can't when the frame arrives to put it together!
Great products only use you guys on my my bikes. Think you missed a trick with the bronze, think if you would of gone Kashmir it would of been phenomenal.
Still rocking my 2008-2010 ish M4 Union Jack edition brakes in raw aluminium. Sexy as hell, incredibly sturdy and so nicely adjustable. Those things are still top of the line brakes almost 15 years later. Bought them used around 2016 for 180 Euros which was the top end of my budget for a pair of brakes and one hell of a deal. The only real upgrade I did was switching to steel hoses and the occasional disc replacement. Have thought about maybe upgrading to a tech 3 lever in the future, but this would only be for the looks. Also: I think I may have been lucky with mine but I have not needed to bleed them in the past 4 years.
As a toolmaker myself and a MTB lover working here would be my absolute dream sadly it's a commute from South Wales. Although one day I'd love to see the factory
If it wasn’t for Chris King I would probably buy a lot more Hope products but lifetime bearing warranty vs 1 year is a no brainier. The bearings on my CK bb are original and have been on every mtb for the past 13-14 years.
I just love people having high quality standards, people wanting to deliver a top job instead of nowadays often met mediocre business. Thanks a lot for your passion and commitment from Berlin ❤
Ive still got a Hope Titanium rear hub on my old ( have actually replaced the bike after 18 yrs. ) Dr Jekyll Dirt Jump bike. Hammered the crap out of it and if i still, on occasions pull the old thing out of the garage, it runs as smooth as anything wlse out there and its hardly been serviced over the years
Hi Do you take calls for help with brakes? I have just bought a brand new set of Tech 4 E4 brakes, and they are absolutely awful! I've got pistons stuck on both front and rear. I took off the reservoir cap on the levers and then used a tool to reset all of the pistons, but one side comes out and they don't retract. It leaves it impossible to center the calipers because one side of pistons doesn't come out and the others don't retract. Not only that, the front calipers are squelching badly and the back of the pads have DOT fluid on them. When I opened the box, I saw the plastic bag covered in fluid and it was all over the brake lever, but as it said on the box "Some fluid on the calipers is normal" I thought nothing of it. I did everything by the book and looked at all of your instructional videos, but this has to be the worst experience I have ever had with brakes. After spending nearly £500 on your brakes and rotors, I feel substantially ripped off!
Es sind einfach die schönsten Komponenten für mich fahre zum beispiel die Teck 2 / Teck 3 / Teck 4 V4 an meinen MTB jede für sich ein Kunstwerk 👍👍👍😁😁😁😁
I love hope stuff and have lots of it but i would love the stuff you don't make yet. You can choose which you want to produce, either a 35mm carbon bar with 40mm rise or do the gravity stem with a rise option or make a headset bearing that limits bar rotation so the 20mm rise carbon bar and zero rise gravity stem that I already have dont destroy my top tube in case of a calamity. While you're at it you might as well knock up a dropper post that not only works but keeps working in UK conditions. You're already half way there with the Lever you make😁 I know i can and do run headset spacers (hope ones) but they make an otherwise stunning bike look like its come from Halfrauds😂
Love the look of Hope gear, brought loads but sadly let down by poor product support. Shame as would buy more but won’t take the chance on disposable parts…
They look amazing, but the Tech 4 E4's are awful. I have just spent the entire afternoon trying to sort my new ones, but pistons are stuck and do not retract and they are leaking. After searching online for help, I see numerous complaints about them. I wish I hadn't bought them.
@@Mapantz1 that doesn’t surprise me in the least. Myself and everyone I know who has had hope brakes has had issues in one way or another. And the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Hope just doesn’t appear to be able to imagine that something they made doesn’t work properly and puts it all down to user error. A pretty typical made in the UK mentality!

A good brand, filled with good people, making brilliant stuff.
Engineering, design and production in incredible harmony result in excellent products. congratulations!!!!

The best bike family on this good Green planet , keep at that HOPE
I've managed to bag the original gravel bike, a Cannondale Slate, and my Hope RX4+ calipers have just been delivered. The quality and value of them is outstanding!
Truly great to see a world class product from a UK owned company manufacturing in the UK

I have some Clarke's Component's on my 2016 Carrerra Emtb and i noticed the Similarity between their's and Hope.
Is the similarity that they can be fastened to a bike frame?
can you guys make an freeride stem like the azonic aggro?

Got hope brakes on my specialized carbon mtb 💯👍
Any chance of 2.3mm floating rotors?
wow
❤
Brilliant and British
Love the look of Hope gear, brought loads but sadly let down by poor product support. Shame as would buy more but won’t take the chance on disposable parts…
Did you know that HopeTech is a starship manufacturer in the game, Starfield?
Hope Pro 5 for rims - thanks.
I like Hope things. Unfortunately, I can only afford their bar end plugs and a headlamp.
With such an impressive operation, why can't they make their brake rotors true and round.
You didn’t come Sedona MTB FEST
Hope brakes look amazing and feel great but are not powerful enough for heavier riders by a long shot!
Sounds like you may need larger rotors? There's only so much a caliper can do if it is not paired with the correctly sized rotor.
@@phil_d doesn’t really get larger than 220… sounds more like hope brakes are known for their lack of top end power.

Hope plz sponsor me
Cool lads. Please "dare to be different", loose DOT fluid.
"take your Hope stuff with you, and 9 times out of ten you're not going to have any problems"
So a 10% failure rate then? 😂
Quality, made to order British components. Can't beat it 🫶
