I love how Karan Johar can look back at his work with so much humour! People might poke fun at his movies but 20 years down the line we’re still watching them!
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is not just a movie. It's my childhood years, the VHS cassettes and beautiful memories. I've laughed over the "dosti" of Rahul-Anjali as much as I've cried over their love and the heartache. "Tujhe Yaad Na Mere Aai" always had and always will shatter my heart whenever it plays. The Shimla shenanigans made me wish that I was a part of that summer camp. KKHH is not just a movie... It's a classic take of life, love and friendship - somethings we all share. Thank you to the makers for giving us this experience. We love it. We always will.
This movie broke my heart lol.. I cried when she realized he loved her, I cried when he chose Tina, I cried when he said I love you but it was not meant for her, I cried on the train scene, I cried when they met again.. I just cried a lot.. this movie.. 🥺🥺🥺😭
I'm more surprised at why Karan chose this scene and not the one right before, "Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aye." The one where Shahrukh runs over to Kajol and says "I love you. I hope main usse ye keh pau." The expressions on Kajol's face as she hugs him and lets her tears drown in the rain are acting brilliance. Not gonna lie, I cry every time I watch that scene.
IKR!! I think many people got blinds over SRK. I know that he's a great actor but hey! Look at Kajol's acting! She has the same vibe as SRK or maybe more? Her eyes, her expression, her body language, it's so natural. She can immersed into her character very well. She can drown us to feel the story of the film it self, like we are her, we are the anjali from KKHH it self.
I am just unapologetic about loving this guys movies. His films are no where close to “good” cinema. but they are like a tub of ice cream or a plate of butter chicken - Just pure guilty pleasure.
At 6:29 because rani knows that anjali loves him more than she do that's why tears come naturally. Love Shahrukh kajol and yes of course rani 😍😘 miss you guys in a frame😊
People can criticize this film and it's story all they want but this was my childhood and I can still enjoy this film and it's cheesiness! One of my favorites!
Yes!! The innocent of love that could bring tears for everyone especially us who have a lot of imagination about love that we crave. It's just so damn wonderful! I love my childhood memories, hope there will be a good production can create these kind of movies back again in the Bollywood industry. (ಥ_ಥ)

I am born and raised here in NYC and I’m NOT Indian or Asian but I am through ancestry. My family is West Indian Guyanese from the Caribbean. KKHH was the first Bollywood movie I actually sat through from start to finish and is also the first Bollywood movie I saw in theaters. I was 6 years old and remember going back with family 2 more times to see it here in Queens NYC. It was sold out all three times but luckily we got our tickets before it was. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai does have its flaws just like almost every film has. It’s a piece of art though. It’s made for entertainment and for ppl to form their own opinions with that being said..I LOVE KKHH. It’s a movie that will always be close to my heart. It made me feel so much of emotions at just 6 years old and watching it so many times over the years it never gets old for me. The music the cast everything is beautiful. Bollywood these days isn’t the same. The music hasnt been great neither have most films these days. Small films are doing way better than big budget films now. Thank You Karan for taking us down memory lane and sharing such great memories! Can’t believe 20 years I feel so old lol. I remember watching KKHH those three times in theater and than watching Dil To Pagal Hai and DDLJ at home on VHS in the late 90s and those three films made me a huge hopeless romantic. Karan I really hope you make another film with SRK and Kajol and you can have Bipasha or Priyanka in that film as well. Something more mature like a Dark romantic drama/thriller. Till this day I think your best film is Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and My Name Is Khan. KANK is phenomenal film I feel it was just ahead of its time especially in India. I can’t wait to see what you do next!

The spectrum of emotions that she had displayed from entering the college to feeling embarassed and ridiculous, just amazing. She is brilliant. Srk is awesome too. Karan Sir, self criticism is a really important, but I feel you are beating yourself up too muxh now a days, please take it easy. You have come a long way, you are doing great. Loved KKHH and Loved loved loved ADHM. Cheers FC
Amrita Oxymoron it’s his first film I don’t blame him. I love this movie but even I can see it’s faults so I’m glad he’s mature enough to see his faults
He isn't beating himself, he doesnt know how to make good movies anymore and this is his jsutification and making the crap stuff like SOTY that he makes today. SOTY is a complete mockery of any movie and no actor did any acting in it - even alia bhat was annoying as hell! Also he hates that he could make a clean movie without vulgarity and wants to us to think that it wasn't a classic as we call it. DO NOT GET BRAINWASHED !
Me too. That's one of the greatest movies in the history of India😍😍😍. But Karan sir is criticizing himself very much for nothing and absolutely the emotion which he made on the screen is really unforgettable. People still admire and will admire. I love ADHM and KKHH too more than me. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
My favourite scene is KKHH is definitely the one in the beginning where SRK goes on stage to console his daughter Anjali for not having a mother. This scene always make me shed a tear 😪
SRK double crossing was one of the most analysed scene of the film in those days. Many identified SRK as a template of lover boy. So YES; it was discussed.
i wish KJO makes another movie casting the EVERGREEN DREAM COUPLE !!! srkajol , hey *film companion* can we expect u to tell this line to him ? kuch kuch hota hai is something else !!! kajol is superb , always teary teary when i watch this movie .
I love this movie and my daughter loved it too. Didn’t know to speak Hindi at all but her first words were Kuch Kuch Ota Ai. Want more movies like this one Karan. Brings a lot of love and happiness to the heart and of course a lot of memories which will come later. Hi from Australia.
Actually Kajol was beautiful in that scene. Maybe only because of her dress that's so colorful but it's so beautiful. The only matters is those who are laughing at her was completely a bullies. I mean, what's wrong with that look?
i have to tell you i have 20 year old and I have watched this film more then 30 time ... I really feel it .. I enjoy it maybe I know all dialogues all the scenes but In each time i watch it it seems like the first time .. i laugh in same scenes .. cry .. be happy ... sing the songs maybe I know the film as the director know or maybe more .. I noticed farah khan and manish also in the university .. Karen's mother Also A remember also in the Nylem Show when a guy want to tell his friend "subarna" that he have a new girlfriend it was also farah .. I watched Ddlj k3g .. mink .. bazigar all the old films But kuch kuch hota hai is my favourite ... why !? because kuch kuch hota hai tum nahi samjawgi ❤ I have to tell you also that the best thing that karan done is that he thought about kajol ... No one can do the film like she did .. it was made for her and For anjeli only ❤ Thnx a lot for giving us that kind of happiness .. As I say always .. Old is Gold I'm sharing my memories with you about my favourite film hamisha and forever 22 year's of kuch kuch hota hai
This movie is amazing. . I remember this movie started trend of friendship day and friendship bands. . I had that friendship bands which shahrukh gives to rani. . . .kjo u rock. . U bring trends in our country and u can make look any country beautiful than it actually is. . :)
One of the EPIC MOVIES..................brings back my childhood memories........Karan might think he has gotten wiser and would never create "CRINGE WORTHY MOMENTS" like such but these were REALLY THE MOMENTS that defined the bollywood cinema. Magical Sequence of Kajol leaving the college, Lil Anjali praying and the marriage getting delayed, Eight letters to 8 year old kid, SRK dancing with Rani in Koi Mil Gaya leaving Kajal behind, these WERE the moments that made this movie so special for me and not to forget - "Rahul is a Cheater", Summer camp, so much and so more. Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham- one of another fav movies of mine - Beautiful entry of Poo, Ashfaq Miyan, Vande Maa Taram on Hritik's entry in London, Bench scenes, Jaya with a thali and SRK dropping out of helicopter, these were THE EPIC MOMENTS that made the movie so memorable. Beautiful people with enormous wealth chasing true love - I would give my left arm to feel that emotion all over again rather than watching Anurag Kashyap's Poor people in Dirty location showcasing the "SO CALLED" TRUE WORLD - which we anyways have IMMENSE ACCESS to via newspapers, our surroundings and 24x7 news channels. KJO bring back the old world charm with "FILMY MOMENTS" like such and let go of your wisdom, your cynicism. KJO is truly a RAJ KAPOOR of this generation who has given us amazing cinematic experience - huge sets, beautiful people and amazing stories. The only INDIAN DIRECTOR who has not given a single flop in his entire span of 20 years of career as a director. Looking forward to many more "FILMY MOMENTS" of rich people craving for love. THANKS A LOT ANUPAMA FOR BRINGING THIS UP. IT WILL BE GREAT IF WE CAN CONVERT THIS TO 40 MINUTE SESSION WHERE HE DE CONSTRUCTS ALL THE DRAMATIC FILMY MOMENTS OF ALL HIS EPIC MOVIES. Lots of love, Navjot.
Kuch kuch hota hai is far more than just just a movie. It only made my childhood sweeter. I love everything about this film, literally everything. ❤️❤️
Great work. Thank you film companion. If possible, can you get the inside a scene of any of the following scenes: 1. Mall scene from the climax of K3G 2. Alia Bhatt's breakdown from Dear Zindagi 3. Alia Bhatt's climax revelation in Highway 4. Climax scene from Kahaani. Especially the breathtaking capture of Kolkata 5.Any scene from Rajkumari Hirani's film
Dear Karan..this Film is my absolutely favorite Bollywood film of all after that comes Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge! I have seen KKHH more than 20 times and he never gets bored! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this and the other film !! The special moment with Shahrukh, Rani and Kajol is really a moment of the heart! Here his girlfriend and on the other hand his love ... great! ♥️♥️
Something that's really great video is the way Karam Johan has analysed the shot. His thoughts behind each shot r really very impressive. And a very touching moment of this shot is when shahrukh, kajol and rani have a group hug it showed that his frndship towards kajol did not affect live towards rani.
Please give a huge, huge credit to Jatin-Lalit. They gave a life to the film with their background score and songs. So much emotion within them in each scene and in the songs as well. Many scenes in the film seems very silly now but the music truly elevated the movie a few level higher and kinda make us glued to the film even today. And yes, a childhood movie it is. Remembered my beautiful childhood memories in the late 90s....
i basically don't comment much on videos,,,but since it was about "kuch kuch hota hein",,,oh gawd i get goosebumps,,,,shhhhh,,,,,,okay since it was about kuch kuch hota hein,,,,believe me when i even take the name of this movie,,,,i just somehow go in my past and try to recall all the memories attached to this film,,those rainy days,,when chachi mummy used to sing songs of this movie,,,and we used to wait eagerly for the film to come up on tv,,,and then used to watch it,,ahhh the memories,,,,now i know technology has transformed the world and people act like "smart",,or they act like they know everything so they just called masterpieces like this "cheesy",,and "dramatic",,,but for the 90s kid ,,these movies and songs are everything till the day they die,,it will always have a special place in their hearts....i cannot just control myself from writing,,,i'm so proud that i was from that era,,when music was real,,,,when we all lived a stress free life,,,when our smile was real,,when we used to find happiness even in small things,,,,,,also i wanna thank makers of these movies,,,,srk kajol rani mukherji,,,,thankuhh thankuhh,,,,,,,,,,,,i'll always be grateful to you all,,,,damn 90sssssssssssssss.:(wish i could turn back time so bad.........lemme finish this with a song i sing always "na jane kaisa ehsas hein bujjhti nhi hein kya pass hein kya nasha is pyar ka mujhpe sanam chane lga,,dil bebasi mein chupke se rota hein kya kru haye kuch kuch hota hein :(
I wish my life is directed through karan Johar lens , no body can come even closer to him the way he portraits the depth of the character and realness he brings to the movie .i know it’s impossible but still I hope this to happen . Sir , I am ur honest and true fan . Love u to the bits
Kkhh has a lot of magical scenes and a very emotional ending. Its brilliant. I guess that's why it succeed worldwide. Not forget, it also supported with actor and actresses that very likeable (Kajol&SRK) and of course the great music. This movie also full of colour, I guess Karan here is t genious behind the movie. I can totally understand the perspective of how u get contradicted over the colour of clothes their wearing. Btw... I love ladki badi song cos its v colorful. Thankyou for making such a great movie of all time.
KKHH is 1 of d best movies i hv watched ever!!😍😍Rahul,Anjali & Tina=d trio scene .is just ❤️...It defines emotion,love,friendship...Omg!!😊😚 This film never gets old..such an evergreen film it is..occupying a spcl place in my heart forever😘
Indian cinema is unique and it should be . There is a amalagamation of both serious issue Movie and light hearted Rom com. And I enjoy both.... I won't Call DDLJ, KKHH, K3G, KHNH as guilty pleause only because I believe they all deserve More respect then trolling.
Karan's cringing watching kkhh but even today it is BY FAR better than he's recent releases like bar bar dekho (which I couldn't even watch once, let alone again and again!!)
It is not just a movie. I feel it has fill half of my heart. I watched this movie, when i was a 6 year girl. I dont know how it touched the deepest of my heart. Anyway, nobody can touch that place yet. Its amazing. MR. KARAN, please wake our deepest back with a new one. Because now im 26 year old girl. i feel something empty on my heart with this crazy world. So this is the time we need to feel the love back....
Karan Johar is a good director. Even though people (and he) gyrate about KKHH and K3G etc, his best work remains 'My Name Is Khan'. Don't know what he did with SOTY but sort of came back to form with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Hope 'Takht' will be good.
@@raniii652 It was good, not great. The songs worked big-time for me. But the love story didn't work for me. The acting was good. In terms of direction, Karan Johar's best work remains MNIK, ADHM is 2nd, while SOTY was the worst.
KKHT: Everybody assumes that he feel in love with Anjali for changed looks because he had fallen in love with Tina who was glamorous. Tina wasn't the first glamorous girl he had met, to say he feel in love with Tina for looks, so him falling for Anjali is also looks (and neither Anjali changed her look to glamorous, she changed more into traditional look. Also Anjali grew up to be the traditional, feminine self of her despite Rahul. She had no idea she was going to meet Rahul. Neither Rahul forced that change). When Tina Rahul first met & he assumes that she is all looks & tries to poke fun/rag, she gives it back. That's where there attraction starts & that was for beyond looks. Later he truly & fully falls in love with Tina. Rahul & Anjali were always true best friends. It was ONLY Tina who was guilty that may be she came in between them, later guilty that may be if she didn't come in between Rahul would have had somebody by his side in life for longer time. It wasn't Rahul's feelings at that time, he loved Tina & would continue to love Tina if she was alive. But she wasn't. That's where their is the ITERATION of the point that you can GIVE LOVE A SECOND CHANCE. A person who always thought love can happen only once would have never given anyone else ever a chance, wouldn't have ever even approached for a conversation, not even when approched from the other side which is depicted in the call he receives but ignores, also awkwardness in the Neelam show. The playful / playboy Rahul had completely changed. But when he meets his best friend back after several years, he didn't hesitate with the conversation BECAUSE SHE WAS HIS BEST FRIEND. After spending a time of over a month, their changing feeling depicted in the song "Ladki badi anjani hain" - you will see how he has clearly fallen in love with Anjali's true self, she has now filled that void, that loneliness in his life. That's when his belief that love can happen only once gets changed & he decides to GIVE SECOND CHANCE IN LOVE. Which is ONE OF THE TWO THEMES of the movie. And Kajol represents the other theme PYAR DOSTI HAIN. To love you have to be friends. (But remember not all friends need to be lovers. That is PYAR DOSTI HAIN, DOSTI PYAR HO ZAROORI NAHI)
I really hope Karan Johar reads this and reunites with Jatin-Lalit (with whom he fell out during the making of K3G). The music of this film is indeed one of his best.
kkhh loved it when i was 13 ,bt now:d Looking back at the scene after so many yrs now i can see that its rani who makes this scene a little endearing by that holding back her hand gesture...almost a true mirror of what the equations between these 2 cousins might hav bn like in real life
Kuch kuch hota hai made indonesian people cying at that time, i cried at that time watching this movie eventhough i am a man . kajol made my tears drop down ..the best hindi's movie i've ever watched in my life
I saw this movie for the first time 13 years ago on my birthday (I watched it twice that day) and I watch it several times a year and on every birthday. I’m pretty I’ll watch it on my deathbed as well. This is one of the best movies of my life (alongside K3G).
Ssly..those were the golden days..I remember it was my very 1st film I watched in theatre..I was very small but still remember those visuals in theatre❤️
Best film in my life. It's so emotional, we can't get back to our real life for days and days when ever we watch this film. We don't see such quality films nowadays. Problem is why Rahul (SRK) gets so close to Anjali as a friend, if there's nothing more to it. It hurts a lot . The particular scene is very touching it explains so many things. Now we don't see such quality Hindi films in Sri Lanka
wow yar... no one has thought this.... no one can even imagine what it is... actually behind the scenes tell the stories and memories relate to this scene
I think he's one of the best directors in Bollywood. His movies are cheesy, and melodramatic, but they stick with you. They're feel good. Theyre GREAT entertainment. Hollywood has lost the ability to do this now without resorting to special effects, story has taken a backseat. Don't lose it india
Uff that kkhh melody, always makes me so nostalgic. Cant believe time is going so fast, they all have children, some of who may do a debut in these couple of years. We are getting old!!!
I loved everything about KKHH. I watched it over 50 Times because my cousin bought VHS cassette of this movie and that’s the only Bollywood movie I can watch over and over besides other some cartoon movies. Those days kids can’t afford to buy VHS cassette and there wasn’t easy internet excess as it is today. This movie is one of my favorite movies till today. Good to see something about it.
I love how Karan Johar can look back at his work with so much humour! People might poke fun at his movies but 20 years down the line we’re still watching them!

@Shweta Crawford People like Akbar Khalid and me also won't date a person who doesn't like KKHH, you emotionless needle.
I CRIED READING THIS!! SO MANY EMOTIONS!! AND IM SRI LANKAN!!
Akbar Khalid true
Shweta I hope you find your macho man and live happily ever after. Seriously people these days!!!

Because she's overwhelmed I guess.. happiness to see their friendship

Bcoz she was happy

Mixed emotions. She realised her feelings for Rahul at this point..
Can somebody pleaseeeee tell Karan there are millions who cherish this movie very close to their heart till this day exclamation point

They don't make movies like this anymore. I am certain everyone watching this video has seen KKHH at least 20 times in the last 20 years.
Sakshee Kumar Thank god. Like it was good in that times. But imagine Deepika patting Priyanka's back and saying "Tum buhat Khubsoorat Ho Anjali"...
Rather twice a year ^^
Sakshee Kumar Can't Agree more with You.I watched it More than 20 Times. And I'm planning to Watch it Again on its 20th Anniversary.
Exactly, bollywood tries too hard to be western now and lost the innocent romantic movies vibe.
very true.. these are the only two indian movies i search for..
I think they are used to c kajol in tom boy look.
i have to tell you i have 20 year old and I have watched this film more then 30 time ...
Karen's mother Also
A remember also in the Nylem Show when a guy want to tell his friend "subarna" that he have a new girlfriend it was also farah ..
I watched Ddlj k3g .. mink .. bazigar all the old films
But kuch kuch hota hai is my favourite ... why !? because kuch kuch hota hai tum nahi samjawgi ❤
I have to tell you also that the best thing that karan done is that he thought about kajol ... No one can do the film like she did .. it was made for her and For anjeli only ❤ Thnx a lot for giving us that kind of happiness .. As I say always .. Old is Gold
I'm sharing my memories with you about my favourite film hamisha and forever
22 year's of kuch kuch hota hai
After all these years I still get teary eyed watching these scenes. My all time favorite movie!
Classic! Karan needs to start making movies like this again! Growing up watching this movie!! Bring back Bollywood!
This movie is amazing. . I remember this movie started trend of friendship day and friendship bands. . I had that friendship bands which shahrukh gives to rani. . . .kjo u rock. . U bring trends in our country and u can make look any country beautiful than it actually is. . :)
shweta unadkat are u virgin
Lots of love,
Navjot.
Kuch kuch hota hai is far more than just just a movie. It only made my childhood sweeter. I love everything about this film, literally everything. ❤️❤️
We're not going to see New Movies Like KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI again 😢
WAIT FOR HI PAPA nani mrunal thakur 21st dec 2023
I'm in love with *why Rani was crying, I have no idea*🤣
Great work. Thank you film companion. If possible, can you get the inside a scene of any of the following scenes:
1. Mall scene from the climax of K3G
2. Alia Bhatt's breakdown from Dear Zindagi
3. Alia Bhatt's climax revelation in Highway
4. Climax scene from Kahaani. Especially the breathtaking capture of Kolkata
5.Any scene from Rajkumari Hirani's film
We can't promise Deepam, but we'll try :)
I love how he criticized his work which is considered as a cult. I think it was his best work
Dear Karan..this Film is my absolutely favorite Bollywood film of all after that comes Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge! I have seen KKHH more than 20 times and he never gets bored! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this and the other film !! The special moment with Shahrukh, Rani and Kajol is really a moment of the heart! Here his girlfriend and on the other hand his love ... great!
♥️♥️
Should've chosen the 'gamla scene' with kajol srk and big b from k3g
I love that scene ahhaha
Something that's really great video is the way Karam Johan has analysed the shot. His thoughts behind each shot r really very impressive. And a very touching moment of this shot is when shahrukh, kajol and rani have a group hug it showed that his frndship towards kajol did not affect live towards rani.
Karan johar
Please give a huge, huge credit to Jatin-Lalit. They gave a life to the film with their background score and songs. So much emotion within them in each scene and in the songs as well. Many scenes in the film seems very silly now but the music truly elevated the movie a few level higher and kinda make us glued to the film even today. And yes, a childhood movie it is. Remembered my beautiful childhood memories in the late 90s....
That srk holding Rani hand from behind is so heartbreaking 💔💔
Karan is most under rated director. Never gets aknowledged for his genius
The fact that he can laugh and call his own direction in the past as cringey shows how mature he is and how much he's grown.
i basically don't comment much on videos,,,but since it was about "kuch kuch hota hein",,,oh gawd i get goosebumps,,,,shhhhh,,,,,,okay since it was about kuch kuch hota hein,,,,believe me when i even take the name of this movie,,,,i just somehow go in my past and try to recall all the memories attached to this film,,those rainy days,,when chachi mummy used to sing songs of this movie,,,and we used to wait eagerly for the film to come up on tv,,,and then used to watch it,,ahhh the memories,,,,now i know technology has transformed the world and people act like "smart",,or they act like they know everything so they just called masterpieces like this "cheesy",,and "dramatic",,,but for the 90s kid ,,these movies and songs are everything till the day they die,,it will always have a special place in their hearts....i cannot just control myself from writing,,,i'm so proud that i was from that era,,when music was real,,,,when we all lived a stress free life,,,when our smile was real,,when we used to find happiness even in small things,,,,,,also i wanna thank makers of these movies,,,,srk kajol rani mukherji,,,,thankuhh thankuhh,,,,,,,,,,,,i'll always be grateful to you all,,,,damn 90sssssssssssssss.:(wish i could turn back time so bad.........lemme finish this with a song i sing always "na jane kaisa ehsas hein bujjhti nhi hein kya pass hein kya nasha is pyar ka mujhpe sanam chane lga,,dil bebasi mein chupke se rota hein kya kru haye kuch kuch hota hein :(
I just love listening to Karan telling stories.
I wish my life is directed through karan Johar lens , no body can come even closer to him the way he portraits the depth of the character and realness he brings to the movie .i know it’s impossible but still I hope this to happen . Sir , I am ur honest and true fan . Love u to the bits
This guy is so cool about how his work 20 yrs back and where he today feels he had gone wrong.. certainly wiser ;)
In any film of Karan Jahar there must be a college and in the college everything happen except education.
This movie is basically my childhood never ever going to get bored of it ❤️ It’s not cheesy at all I still love that scene
Congrats 20 years. It takes talent to create a movie that is still a favorite 20 years later. Loads of love from S.A
Kkhh has a lot of magical scenes and a very emotional ending.
KKHH is 1 of d best movies i hv watched ever!!😍😍Rahul,Anjali & Tina=d trio scene .is just ❤️...It defines emotion,love,friendship...Omg!!😊😚
This film never gets old..such an evergreen film it is..occupying a spcl place in my heart forever😘
Childhood's all time favourite movie..I love that scene when Kajol says "Cheater..cheater.. cheater.. Rahul is a cheater..And Shahrukh says "Noo..
I can listen to Karan talk all day .. he’s so good with words !!!
Indian cinema is unique and it should be . There is a amalagamation of both serious issue Movie and light hearted Rom com. And I enjoy both....
I won't Call DDLJ, KKHH, K3G, KHNH as guilty pleause only because I believe they all deserve More respect then trolling.
Karan Johan is a really nice guy. He always manages to bring a smile to my face. Pink Vs Pink is a valid discussion though ☝️🤣
Karan's cringing watching kkhh but even today it is BY FAR better than he's recent releases like bar bar dekho (which I couldn't even watch once, let alone again and again!!)
omg haha Karan shouldn’t feel embarrassed or cringey at his movie scenes!! he’s created a masterpiece ✨😍
Srk n kajol chemistry is superb ..childhood lovely memories..beautiful movie
Do that scene also where srk and kajol met first time in summer camp.
Huhhh jeahhh 😭
My 16 year-old self drove to a different state by myself to watch this film when it came out because it wasn't playing in my hometown in the US...
At least Karan realizes the mistakes he made , but either way it was a great movie . I was a kid then but I remember how much I loved it
This makes me cry. KKHH is life.
I remember crying so much in the theatre during this scene. This was a beautifully done scene.
I love this scene. It's like the essence of the film
Most Actresses Who Selected For Tina Role But Atlast Rani Is Realy Suitable...
What are your thoughts on Kabhi Alvida Naa kehna
@@raniii652 It was good, not great. The songs worked big-time for me. But the love story didn't work for me. The acting was good. In terms of direction, Karan Johar's best work remains MNIK, ADHM is 2nd, while SOTY was the worst.
I was not even born when it got released but loved this movie so much..watched this movie enormous time
KKHT: Everybody assumes that he feel in love with Anjali for changed looks because he had fallen in love with Tina who was glamorous.
Well said!
I really hope Karan Johar reads this and reunites with Jatin-Lalit (with whom he fell out during the making of K3G). The music of this film is indeed one of his best.
Their pinks were very different. Kajol looked like a fruit cake. Rani was looking too posh, sophisticated, rich and polished.
kkhh loved it when i was 13 ,bt now:d Looking back at the scene after so many yrs now i can see that its rani who makes this scene a little endearing by that holding back her hand gesture...almost a true mirror of what the equations between these 2 cousins might hav bn like in real life
Kuch kuch hota hai made indonesian people cying at that time, i cried at that time watching this movie eventhough i am a man . kajol made my tears drop down ..the best hindi's movie i've ever watched in my life
Kkhh was a classic it still is
It was memories and the chemistry between those three main actors was just amazing
Make it long video,I can listen about KKHH all long
I saw this movie for the first time 13 years ago on my birthday (I watched it twice that day) and I watch it several times a year and on every birthday. I’m pretty I’ll watch it on my deathbed as well. This is one of the best movies of my life (alongside K3G).
Ssly..those were the golden days..I remember it was my very 1st film I watched in theatre..I was very small but still remember those visuals in theatre❤️
My favourite actress Rani😘😘
FC is outdoing itself in pioneering film journalism in India. Another great segment. Bravo!
Funny how Karan sir said. Girls nowadays dress like Kajol in pink clothes.
Do you?
Shubham Meena NO!😆I cannot think about wearing neon pink attire. But seems like you love the attire😀
He dresses like that though ( Karan jahor)
Lisa Ray yeaaaaaaaaaaaah 🤣🤣🤣🤣Karan does!!
Kajol was the saviour of this scene.
So basically the film shoot was more like a family outing
I think he's one of the best directors in Bollywood. His movies are cheesy, and melodramatic, but they stick with you. They're feel good. Theyre GREAT entertainment.
Hollywood has lost the ability to do this now without resorting to special effects, story has taken a backseat. Don't lose it india
Rani, so beautiful.
Thank you Ma'am, you have created such a wonderful platform for budding film makers. I follow film companion religiously. - Newbie screenwriter :)
We like the "chezzy' scene like that da we dont find anymore in Bollywood... big up from Paris
Thank you film companion for such videos. Please keep this up.
This is so unique and treat to watch for.
