Reel life and real life are very, very different. Many of the "in-love," perfect star couples hate each other in real life and even refuse to acknowledge each other. I'm not saying that this is necessarily the case with actors in this film, but it's dangerous to conflate reel and real life relationships and equations.

Sana isn't relly a movie star, we really don't see her often and well, SRK, Rani and Kajol are busy with their own lives, so i'm sure they probably haven't seen each other for years and don't have any close relationship. It's more maybe like an old friend, you always have a warm feelings for them, but also you are not close anymore.
The last few mins when shahrukh khan didnt find a space so he went all the way to the side and spoke to the kid star in the movie. No wonder this man is who he is today!!! M not even his fan but wow what a gentleman

I watched kkhh 7 times 12 year back and soty 15 8 years back but i remember most scenes of kkhh than soty even songs of kkh is way better than soty.

Very sad that Sana Saeed doesn’t get the appreciation she deserves. She deserved to be invited up on stage with the main cast. Without her the movie would not have been possible. Could any other child have pulled that ‘maa’ scene as well as her? We would never know but what we do know is that she was the soul of the movie.

please look at the scene again. as srk with kajol and rani walk towards the stage, kajol turns around and makes fun with srk's son abram who is also sitting in front next to gauri. on stage, srk and kajol look deeply at each other and laugh. what srk says is just fun, both of them have been good friends for almost 30 years!
Also, the reason he was annoyed was probably he didn't like it for some reason that before going to the stage she was having fun with his son.

Shahrukh saying that he was not a big star at that time, is just too much humility. KKHH came in 1998 and DDLJ which came in 1995 had made SRK the most popular Indian actor and a mammoth star... a household name. Deewana, Baazigar, Darr, Anjaam, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa..i may be missing a few here as well ...all released before 1998 n had already established him as the first true blue cool megastar after the Bachchan era who could act as well. So, this is just Shahrukh being too humble. ❤

To me Sana is one of the lead/important actress in KKHH. 75% of the movie is lead by her. But yet she not bein call on stage to make any speech or to talk bout the movie. Such a shame. And to see her walk towards the stage (at the end) not from the front seat but from the back, is just so sad. Why not give her seat in front with others cast members and crews? I duno what’s goin on with Karan n the teams but I’m really upset n disappointed.

Great music by Jatin Lalit and filming by Karan Johar. The music directors Jatinji Lalitji and lyricist Sameerji should have been honored on stage with a chance to share their individual thoughts and experience on the movie, as their music and the background score played a pivotal role in making the movie what it was.

I was reading KARAN's autobiography and the 1 whole chapter dedicated to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.. And he mentioned many things on it, so I watched the movie again yesterday and today I watched this 20 yr anniversary of this magnanimous movie...
I enjoyed READING about it+ wacthing it + seeing the cast after 20 yrs talking abt this..
Thanks Karan and Dharma for creating this movie which made giving my time memorable to myself..
Rani was just 19 when they filmed KKHH but she had amazing acting skills, expressions and screen presence acting beside SRk kajol who were already stars. I watched KKHH as a kid and recently rewatched it, turned out I only remembered the first half up to the point where Rani was in and a few scenes of Salman and Kajol in a saree, I had forgotten the rest of the second half haha
