In a short clip included in the show 'STORY Années 2000', Romain Tranchart (member of the French band Modjo) describes how he created the song Lady, along with Yann Destal.
You're missing a significant one...Justice! Cross was the album Daft Punk should have made...it was far superior to Human After All and, for me, it put Justice above Daft Punk at that moment in time. Possibly the greatest french house/electronic album ever. I should also mention Etienne De Crecy, too. His "Tempovision" album is genius!
@@rednad839 you my friend, are fucking sick in the head because its fucking not daft punk contains thomas bangalter and guy-manuel de homem cristo stardust contains benjamin diamonds, alan braxe, and thomas bangalter not daft punk.
@@rednad839 Not quite. It was Thomas Bangalter and Alan Braxe. Braxe had an album out himself, which featured collaborations with other producers, including the Stardust project.
Brooo im so hapy to find this Song again!! Was deep on my mind listening this in 2000's... Surprise that you talk about bossa on it, dont know why but is a really beautifull song...salutes from brasil, Sergipe
They were in their early 20s and didn’t think the song would become successful. They didn’t want to become overwhelmed with the fame but they have no regrets. They also didn’t realise one song but an album.
@@alexmcevity4511 Was a bit different with that one. Thomas and Alan have worked together since, just not under the Stardust alias. They turned down a $1m album deal, which was insane at the time, as they didn't want to sell out. Believe it or not, there was a lot of restrictions (set mainly by Thomas) on the single too...he didn't want to allow it on any compilation albums, but when it blew up worldwide Virgin weren't going to not cash in. The deal was that IF it were to go on a compilation (think Now, etc) it had to go on in it's entirety, no radio edits, and it had to go on twice (although it could be different mixes). Don't believe me? Check every compilation you might have that it's on.

stardust only made one song ever lol and also it was essentially just a side project of one of the guys from daft punk (bangalter) anyway

Bit like Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You. Sometimes you create such a masterpiece that you just gotta leave it
It’s all about money that’s why, young teenagers with money what do u expect?

Wow my favorite song in the world I had no idea that you sampled chic 10 Years later
Amazing song, great use of the sample and their album was also fantastic. Shame they split up afterwards.
Made chic more amazing
🔥
Their first song was a huge hit and then they decided to split up? What on Earth possessed them to do that?!
Soup for one.
