Those are just cool and useful tools, but the game isn’t preferred by Melee players based on something that small (overall) I also think it’s pretty unnecessary for someone to state that they hate a game when going to a player of that game’s channel lmao I’m just glad to see Riddles playing Melee (and he’s obviously really good/could go far in the game if he wanted)
@@HammarHeart melee has buffer only on special inputs just like normal FG has between strings or things like that. What is wrong about últimate buffer is that it always have it. Thats why those buffered airdodge SDs only happen on últimate
@@jasonlobo2350 If you could buffer specials in Melee that would be bananas because shines are special moves. You can only buffer jumps, double jumps, spot dodges and rolls in Melee. The input system is actually more demanding than arguably any SF game from the past 10 years.
eh, i feel at a low level you do. but as you tend to get better (especially as falcon) you really start to love these matchups. Like with puff it’s a 0-10 from a grab with instant auto canceled up airs, same thing with marth. and with spacies it’s a game to see many reads you can get or sick ways to stomp knee.
Honestly I like every matchup except ICs and some puffs (I play sheik). I think it's fun to notice tendencies between different players of the same character, although it has made me get good at melee against slippi foxes instead of melee in general :)

As a 20gx falcon you should be focusing on techchasing fastfallers and using speed to your advantage. A part you got down is mixups with your attacks because when a player is expecting a knee and inputs DI for knee, you can do nair, reverse bair, or up air and it can lead to knee. Just another essential fact to know when comboing with falcon in melee.

Kinda lame when an "Ult player" comes to Melee and is already Hax dashing on command, don't care what your technical abilities are or anything there's literally no way you're able to do that unless you've practiced the timings involved in this game for a good bit.

For an ult player, your Falcon is not that bad. Wizzy makes Falcon look like a top character, but honestly Falcon has losing matchups against all the top tiers. As a Falcon main you have to be significantly better than your opponent, and the fact that Wizzy can win with this character just shows how cracked he is. Falco vs Falcon is ass because laser and bair are super oppressive. Falcon vs Samus is actually in Falcon's favor, if you catch Samus with no jump you can just abuse her with upair. Also her grab has trash frame data so you gotta abuse the fact that she will probably never grab you. Falcon vs Marth is winnable, but they can both death combo each other and Marth's death combos are easier and he has a sword so he gets to bully you in neutral and you have to play around it. But just based on this, if you actually played this game you'd be sick.

You can actually buffer a lot of things in melee like shield, certain attacks, and animations but not as much as in ultimate tho

The protocol is: no uptilt edgeguards in falcon dittos, unless they do it first. In which case you do it exclusively back to them. You have done well.
