Yeah aside from like the asumsaus and the documentary type videos these videos and the 100 win challenge are my favorite melee content lately
The reason he is the only top player making this content is because most people are not stupid and realize that smurfing is bad.

Did you just forget that Moky is a top 10 player? If a bronze one player did this challenge it would take far, FAR longer for them to do this challenge.

As someone who's been in silver for a couple years I have 2 things to contribute:
1. The cycle of floaties and species is absolutely real. whenever I play someone I can quickly figure out if they're in the spacie rung above me or the one below me.
2. Ascending from complete beginner to silver 3 feels like walking up a slow and steep hike. Climbing from silver into Gold feels like climbing the sheer face of a cliff. Like i've been procrastinating playing melee cause I know I need to install unclepunch and spend a month or three grinding the game out if I want to solidly get into gold.
(This was before free ranked day, Idk what it's like now)
I hitted silver yesterday and my ass doesn't know L-cancel 😅 I need to practice on Unclepunch too
it can also take a week or 2. give labbing a try, it's quite fun
You don’t need to do crazy labbing honestly just practicing your movement and execution for like at least 10 minutes a day will make a huge difference than just only hopping on slippi and playing people. It’ll make the game more fun too
The cycle is still there. Theres like distinct ranks for them now.
Silver 2 will have fast fallers.
Silver 3/Gold 1 will have both tiers of floaties.
Gold 2 will have the spacies again.
I remember when i climbed out of silver, i never ran into a fox. I ran into marth, sheik, peach, falco and samus in that climb. When I hit gold i started seeing falcon, DK and foxes again. Havent played in about a month but thats how it was for me.
I like how instead of shitting on people in the lower ranks for being bad while playing them you encouraged them and called out what they did that was good. A lot of other creators do similar challenges on other games but don’t approach positivity

It’s always good to see real good players lose or get messed up even for a stock or two online. People are so good now and unranked can be an insane mixed bag and really frustration for us JUST OKAY players

so luigi could be top 1 in the world right now? Like let's say you put them into a tournament with the other top players, it looks like the luigi has a chance to actually win a super major. That's crazy. Unless you weren't trying all that hard, but it looked like you were trying hard
Beating 1 player online is different than beating several of the world's elite. Can't remember the last time a Luigi has even been Top 16 at a major, and I think the last time one was in top 8 was in Super Smash Con 2017
I mean he had played about 6 hours of melee prior, it’s a b03, and you can’t just beat one top player to win a super major, much less be top 1. Can he get top 8? Sure, but winning a supermajor is a whole different ordeal, against people who aren’t several hours deep into a challenge and instead can like practice the Luigi mu
a lot of mid tiers can do alright versus certain top tiers (in this case fox) but completely fold versus other top tiers. good luck beating hbox or zain with luigi
I think there is no chance a luigi wins a super major within the next few years. There currently is no luigi good enough to do it, and if there were it would take plenty of tries to get the bracket luck necessary to make it possible

Vs Luigi: Laser & platform camp until he commits to a down B or a down smash. Then shine him offstage. You can shine all his specials while he recovers on reaction. Respect his double jump when he recovers. Don't challenge his nair. Bait nair instead and punish the landing lag with a grab.
