More excellent sounds from the brilliant title music is It's not over by Darren Curtis. Used by permission.
Love this! Great terrain and attractive troops!
Appreciated!
Truly superb, spectacular and gorgeous!
Much appreciated Phil!
This is brilliant thanks for sharing, all the best, Garry
Appreciated Garry!
Absolutely beautiful! Great work.
Appreciated Brent
Thanks so much for sharing this, this is the sort of size of game that I can work with, so it is great to see this size of action supported here. I have been checking in two or three times a day in anticipation of this 2nd video being uploaded and was not disappointed - thank you.
That IS enthusiasm Norm. Glad it lived up to expectations!
Really superb.
Thanks Gee
Simply beautiful. I dread to think how many hours the terrain and figures took to paint!
Yes, it was a fair bit of work!
Stunning! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Daniel. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Phew! Nail biting stuff! Great battle report 👍
Thank you General!
Two great videos. I was completely unaware of these rules not being a 28mm gamer. They look like great rules for an evening’s gaming. Great production quality on your videos, I’ll look out for more.
Thanks Sam - the rules were free with Victrix boxed sets but if anyone wants them contact me through League of Augsburg on Facebook
Very enjoyable vid Barry. The battlefield looks superb. How a Napoleonic game should look. Well done. Looking forward to more of your productions 👍
Cheers Keith
Appreciated Keith. I have had fantastic use from the mat.
Absolutely cracking Barry. Best regards Shaun T.
Much appreciated Shaun!
Fantastic stuff Barry, need to try and get a copy of the rules 😁👍🏻
They are the best kind........................ FREE! 😎
@@leagueofaugsburg9036 yep just downloaded of the website 👍🏻😊
Great battle !
thank you!
Great Stuff Barry! Nothing else could be expected:-)
Danke Gunter! Memories of your visits to the Island!
Fantastic matey loved both... Very inspirational... And who doesn't like wargame eye candy... lol
Cheers Shaun, oh there are some minimalists out there - its not real you see, wargames don't look like this... or so they say🤣
@@leagueofaugsburg9036 you keep it up matey...the biz.. 👌👍😎
I finally got a chance to see this, it was very enjoyable. It's been a long time since I've seen many of those figures.
You have probably commanded some of them Paul!
Any chance of a new video? 4 Bras, or something Peninsular? Ive replayed this video so much, my eyes are getting worn oot!
Working on stuff all the time. Just not enough hours in the day. Hope to have some new Naps stuff up in the forseeable future
92nd Bydand is a most excellent regiment ...aye am biased. Great battle report and great figures mate.
Thank you Ricky
Yes-4Play for Napoleonics please! This was a great appetizer!
OK Ed, thanks, On it! :)
Barry, another smashing video! And rule set. I was wondering if you wrote also a section for cavalry? On the Victrix site one can find the infantry and artillery rules, but no cavalry. Thanks!
Thanks Kroum. I did do the cavalry rules. I have sent them to people on request via email.
@@leagueofaugsburg9036 Thank you! I will email you then for a copy. True, 17th century is my passion, but upon occasion a Napoleonic battle can be entertaining, too. Thanks again!
@@leagueofaugsburg9036 I looked for the cavalry rules on your site to purchase them, but could not find them.
Your lovely Republic to Empire arrived in my letterbox last week, much appreciated. Do you imagine you'll ever do a how to play video for RE? I've been giving it a read but would definitely appreciate a video tutorial of that.
Thanks for the kind words Campbell. I will be creating Republic to Empire tutorials. The have been much requested over the years and I am now in a position to do that. Watch this space!
What a fantastic looking game! Were any cavalry rules ever added?
Yes they were. I don't know if Victrix published them. If you contact me through Facebook I can send them to you.
@@leagueofaugsburg9036 Thank you. Is your FB page ‘The League of Augusberg’?
nice, but can the March of Eagles rules still be bought or downloaded somewhere?
They are free. Originally included in Victrix boxed sets of Napleonic infantry.
Excellent!!! Figures, terrain and the backdrop of the smoke, visually spendid👍Are you republishing these rules? is there a Cavalry suppliment? Well done Barry!
Thanks Paul. Funny you should ask about republishing, I just had that very conversation with Clarence my fellow Augsburger. Watch this space!
@@leagueofaugsburg9036 ...uhm...a 'Augsburger' is a Sausage...but I am sure you meant something else entirely ;-)
@ well, no I didn't. I think I am a bit of a silly sausage :)
OK Barry you got me convinced to try, I have the rules and 6mm figures so I should be able to play thin on a chess board :)
no risk Joe - free rules, you've got the figures, you may even have the chess board ;)
Good stiff Barry! How long did the game take to play out?
Thanks MJ. This only took about 100 minutes to play out. I took a lot of footage which extended the time at the table but the game play with March of Eagles is very intuitive. No looking up tables and charts. I have mentioned it before but it is a 'buddy' / parent and child type game system. Still feels like Naps though!
Where does one find these rules?
Originally they were given away free with Victrix boxed ets of platstic Napoleonics. If you want them now contact me through League of Augsburg on Facebook.
How about a slice of Quatre Bras for the next video. Huzzah!
I am sure I'll get to that!
Please do; it's the kind of battle that wouldn't be too hard to translate onto the wargames table.
