Bummer, I always had to put VHS tapes hidden in my room so my older sister wouldn't find them and record her nonsense over mine. She would use up the her tapes that my parents got then steal mine. I got tired of it once and put a magnet to all hers. They knew I did it but never got proof. I was about 10 at the time.

88 Mph is just about 141 Km/h. In Germany you can go a lot faster than that on a autobahn, while in Italy the limit is 130 km/h but speed cameras tolerance is such that you won't be fined for doing 140 Km/h. In a modern car 88 mph is a safe speed on a motorway (not so much in a parking lot).

The refrigerator time machine Zemeckis mentioned ended up being the origin of the "nuke the fridge" scene in Indiana Jones 4. The climax of BTTF when the fridge was in the script was going to be Doc and Marty taking the fridge to a nuclear testing site so that the bomb blast would generate enough power to get Marty back to the future. When this never happened, the idea remained in Spielberg's drawer and was eventually dusted off and reworked for the opening to Indiana Jones 4. They probably searched in that particular drawer because of Indiana Jones 4 being set in the 1950s, only 2 years after 1955.

Me and some online buddies have been talking about the BttF trilogy lately. I distinctly remembered this special coming on TV and it is 100% the reason why myself and every single school-aged boy believed that hoverboards were legit. You lied to us, Zemekis (25:20), but I forgive you! It was a great lie worth hoping for. :D
Zemeckis was purposely kidding, and Leslie Nielsen proved it toward the end when he threw the hoverboard and expected it to hover, but it fell flat to the ground instead. Hoverboards as displayed in the movie would never be able to be approved for public use even if there was any reality to them. There would be too much pushback against them by all the protectionists.

There were a few more things... video calls, watching multiple channels at once, fingerprint keypads (not common but they exist), an interest in retro nostalgia (even if no Cafe 80s), downtown revival in a lot of towns and cities, Google Glass-type glasses, overproduction of sequels (even if not Jaws 19), paper currency being less common, etc.
There ought to be a word created to describe someone's petty resentment of something (like this movie) simply because others love it. You could be the poster child for it, knucklehead. Bet you're just a delight at parties. LOL
I remember a spoof someone made. every time Marty went to the car with his mom they ended up getting it on. then every time he went back he had to explain to the doc that he was weak and did it with his mom. and every time doc sent him back there would be another meaty in the car trying to get the other Martys not to get it on.. but they all kept failing. then at the end there were like 25 Martys and like 40 babies. it was so funny.. especially considering that was the one aspect most were worried about in the film. that the audience would be grossed out over him kissing his mom.
As far as the makeup is concerned, I think they forgot to mention the 3rd movie with Thomas F Wilson as Mad Dog Tannen, Marty's Irish grandparents also played by Michael J Fox and Lea Thompson. Christopher Lloyd is the only actor who's character pretty much stayed the same way in all 3 movies. Even his aging makeup didn't seem to be any different from a young scientist Doc Brown to an Old Doc Brown.
At the end of this, I wonder why Leslie Neilsen opened the delorean door by putting his hand through the open window and pulling the interior door release 🤔?

There were a few more things... video calls, watching multiple channels at once, fingerprint keypads (not common but they exist), an interest in retro nostalgia (even if no Cafe 80s), downtown revival in a lot of towns and cities, Google Glass-type glasses, overproduction of sequels (even if not Jaws 19), paper currency being less common, etc.

I remember a spoof someone made. every time Marty went to the car with his mom they ended up getting it on. then every time he went back he had to explain to the doc that he was weak and did it with his mom. and every time doc sent him back there would be another meaty in the car trying to get the other Martys not to get it on.. but they all kept failing. then at the end there were like 25 Martys and like 40 babies. it was so funny.. especially considering that was the one aspect most were worried about in the film. that the audience would be grossed out over him kissing his mom.

As far as the makeup is concerned, I think they forgot to mention the 3rd movie with Thomas F Wilson as Mad Dog Tannen, Marty's Irish grandparents also played by Michael J Fox and Lea Thompson. Christopher Lloyd is the only actor who's character pretty much stayed the same way in all 3 movies. Even his aging makeup didn't seem to be any different from a young scientist Doc Brown to an Old Doc Brown.
He said that flying hoverboards existed but parents groups banned them. That wasn't true but made us kids around that time believe they did exist.
At the end of this, I wonder why Leslie Neilsen opened the delorean door by putting his hand through the open window and pulling the interior door release 🤔?
