- India will face Bangladesh in the historic Day/Night Test match on November 22 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The match will not only be the first Day/Night Test match in India but it will also mark the debut of the SG pink balls. The pink balls have been made in the SG factory in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

And most important because it's made in India it more affordable.
The red ball that is used in india is made in india by sg different countries have different ball makers .england uses the Duke and rest of nations use the kookaburra ball

The Dukes red ball is the best ball ever in cricket, if you can make a pink ball that you can also polish up and look after and it will swing then I have no problem, but if a pink ball is just a white ball coloured pink and can't be polished and and looked after, what is the point..?

@@devendrasingh5664 if you followed cricket you would know and understand. The Dukes ball is made by hand not by machine, it maintains it's hardness, roundness, has a nice pronounced seam and will swing for many more overs than Kookaburra or any other brands.
@@fiddlestickzmuzik SG ball is also hand stitched, it's pretty descent as well... every western things is not necessarily " the best " !!
@@devendrasingh5664Dukes, although appears western, is now owned by a family of Indian descent. If something is better than the other, we’ve to accept it. SG are decent balls. Are they better than Dukes? No. Why not? Play test cricket with both the balls and you’ll know. Until we accept that there’s a gap, there’s no opportunity for improvement.
