One of the greatest test innings of Kohli where he showed his will power after getting few chances. No one was there to build a partnership with him but he showed confidence on himself. He kissed the chain to show gratitude to God because he knew that he was lucky. Such a great player ❤️
Most of the times he's left alone. In Chennai test 2nd innings when he made 74 he had no partners to support him. That pitch was so bad everyone got out quickly but he stood his ground. That seperates him from the rest. He is not in very good form but is batting beautifully on tough pitches while others look like getting out every ball
@@Nsank29 in long innings it is common to get dropped 2-3 times. The pitch was not favorable to batsmen and everyone around him were getting out. He never got perturbed by those dropped catches or toughness of the pitch or his partners getting out. That is his greatness. If you would have understood that, you wouldn't have made this comment
Virat Kohli Age 35. INDIA Right Handed Batsman When a young Virat Kohli led India to an Under-19 World Cup win in 2008, not many would have envisioned that his 18-year-old will one day become the face of Indian cricket. But he did and, in the process, emerged as the greatest ODI batter of all time. Kohli is to India today what Sachin Tendulkar was in the 1990s and the 2000s. For some, he is even greater than the Master Blaster, and who can blame them? The way Kohli transitioned Indian cricket, though his batting, fitness, captaincy and pure entertainment on the field, it's little doubt that he is the GOAT, pushing the likes of Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and the great Kapil Dev for that honour. Kohli, a two-time ICC Player of the Year and ODI player of the year four times, at one stage, had a batting average of over 50 in all three formats, and although he underwent a three-year dry spell, he broke his idol Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI centuries. Kohli became the first man to do so at the World Cup 2023, where he also surpassed Tendulkar's record tally of 673 runs by amassing 765 himself. Making the transition from a brash teenager to India's best batter of the current era, Kohli became the master of chase, as he would successfully gun down big targets almost single-handedly. The unbeaten 183 against Pakistan and the 133 not out against Sri Lanka in Australia - where his assault on Lasith Malinga has become part of cricketing folklore - the 82 not out against Australia at the 2016 World T20 and the mother of all chases - unbeaten 82 vs Pakistan at the MCG at the 2022 T20 World Cup. At the start of his career, Kohli was tried at various positions in the batting line-up establishing himself at No. 3 in ODIs and T20Is. After just 25 ODI innings, he had already amassed 9 fifty-plus scores including two centuries. Kohli has always believed in backing his confidence and with the assurance evident in his shot selection and footwork, he was rarely found wanting with his technique even on bowling-friendly surfaces abroad. Once Kohli grew in maturity, especially in the ODIs, lean patches made way for eye-ball grabbing consistency. Three years after his India debut, Kohli played his first Test against West Indies but it was his maiden century against Australia in Adelaide that proved he was here to stay. Kohli went to England in 2014 with the reputation of being India's best batter but was given a reality check as he could only muster 134 runs from 10 innings. However, Kohli roared back to form when he toured Australia, making his Test captaincy debut in the series opener. He tallied almost 700 runs in the 2014-15 Border-Gavaskar Trophy and stood tall as the rest of the Indian batters struggled. The rest, as they say, is history. Once he took over from MS Dhoni as India's full-time captain, he took Indian cricket to greater heights. He emerged as India's most successful Test captain, leading the team to 40 wins and ensuring Team India finished as the top-ranked Test side - winning the ICC Test mace - for five straight years in a row. He stepped down as India's T20I captain after the 2021 T20 World Cup, was removed as ODI skipper and gave up Test captaincy in January of 2022. Kohli went through a lean patch, going three years without an international century, but as is the case with all great players, Virat was back in style, notching up hundreds for fun and raising the bar even higher.
every time I miss the old Kohli I came here and watch this highlight and after that I realise no matter what happened to him nowadays but "HE WAS THE KING, IS THE KING AND WILL BE THE KING" he will definitely come back stronger 🤞🏽💪🏽💜

5:25 look at Kohli's aggression....❤️💪✌️🔥🔥🔥🔥🤯
He's a scarpio. People with this zodiac sign are aggressive and courageous also passionate as hell. Also very vengeful 😂
you deserve that after fighting so hard in the middle . He worked so hard , right from 2014 , to get this. Unbelievable passion and dedication . I am not his biggest fan but he taught us all a lesson right there . If only I had half of that towards anything in life.
Still a remarkable innings.😻
@Kiwi Smith Stokes was dropped twice and Lyon couldn't run him out so does that mean he's not good? Dumb logic

watching Kohli's past centuries after waiting so long for Kohli's century and it yet to come.
Root's appreciation was heart welming
@@SunayanaSB1998 He always performs when everyone doesn't. He is not the one to take credit when everyone is performing. He is always a match winner

One of the best memorable centuries in Kohli's career want something like that in this series too!
Virat Kohli
Age 35. INDIA
Right Handed Batsman
When a young Virat Kohli led India to an Under-19 World Cup win in 2008, not many would have envisioned that his 18-year-old will one day become the face of Indian cricket.

All of the people saying that virat was dropped numerous times, just remember brian lara was dropped and given not out when he was clearly out in the innings he scored 400.🙂
They don't understand that it's the part of the game. Rohit was dropped 7 times in world cup 19 and Sachin was dropped almost 5 times in ind vs pak 2011 semifinals. But they wanna just bring it out on kohli.
