I just went there with my 4 yr old daughter this past weekend in 2022. It's still there, but you can't climb on it go in any of it. Due to structural integrity, and building materials this site won't last another twenty years. It needs funding! Go online and help keep this truly bizarre out of the way monument in Niland. CA around. I'm a local and I only learned of this from GTA V. The alien mountain in Sandy shores IS salvation mountain. Don't even get me started on slab city! Lol
If i was there that historic day i would have carried Leonard to the top of his mountain so he can bathe in the view from the top and say to him well done and we all like to say to you Mr Leonard We love you ! and thank you for showing the world what true love to others is all about . Rest in the loving arms of Jesus and bathe in the light of His Love forever and ever
Yeah in one way if everybody was like Leonard the world wouldn't grow, but we would certainly be at peace! Maybe one day we will evolve to that point in Humanity... RIP Leonard... now he certainly knows God more than he did on this Earth. Not many people can say they completed their life goal, but Leonard certainly can. I bet when Leonard was doing this, he never imagined there would be a social media that would show the whole world his gift to us...
