Awesome ! I just purchased a new 2023 Audi R8 in the middle east, and i noticed I don’t have the same soft limiter. I can rev the car pass 6k rpm no problem but can’t have to wait a second or 2 before i can hard rev it again. Wondering how come all the stock cars online have a soft limiter but mine doesn’t 🤔. Brand new from the dealer btw
Euro/UK spec now have to follow dumb sound and emission legislation - meaning GPF filters and no high revving when stationary. Middle Eastern cars are what UK cars we prior to 2018/19
May be due to your region. EU has emission regs to comply to.

how would you compare to your old m4?
feel, emotion wise, speed, m4 clearly was faster.
Coming soon, the R8 RWD is a completely different animal to drive compared to the M4, the sound, the handling, steering & responsiveness, in terms of speed now the R8 is tuned it is only 0.3s slower 100-200 than the 750hp M4 which is pretty impressive. Picture the M4 like a sledge-hammer & the R8 being a sharp knife@@MeijaJanis

Mid engine so its grips and goes
its NA with 305 back tires, should be fine imo.
Honestly, the chassis is so good, mechanical grip is exceptional. It feels very natural for the car and controllable.
