Thank you for saying that. I am happy with this boat. It's funny, in life, there are people, beliefs, and sometimes material thing that we resonate with, and this is one of those things.
Erick, you know what I cannot find anywhere on UA-cam ? A video about the aluminum seats and floor. Like how much weight is realistic on them. Can too much weight damage the tubes where they rest on it. Drilling into the aluminum seat boards and floor boards if safe, pros and cons. If seats can realistically be attached on top of the seat boards without rocking back too far, hazards ? So much but seemingly nobody has had anything to say about the aluminum seats and floor panels. I’d like to add all kinds of accessories to them but there’s no way to know if safe to do. The seats may not handle any attachments and may need reinforcements. The floor panels may not handle the stress of a seat pedestal and any bolts passing through (from the underside up) may even damage the cloth beneath and the keel. Etc etc. Just an idea for a future vid. None like it so far that I can tell. Ok God Bless !
The folks at Boatstogo sent me this www.boatstogo.com/seating-platform.asp it's a seating frame where you can place a turning base, and extension to stand taller, and a seat. I am currently waiting for the extension so I can make a video review for them.
@@ErickMartinSucre oh nice ! 👍 no rush. Looking forward to checking that out. Glad you were able to sort out the transom wheel issue. Made this channel so I can start sharing some other outdoor related stuff. (You made a vid about carrying/laying the outboard for me on my other channel, greatly appreciated !) be safe bro.
Erick I love your videos about inflatables. One question though, I have one these exact boats in a box that I haven't taken out yet, but was wondering can this be car topped on a mid size sedan like an Altima? I know that it can be disinflated and fits in the trunk, but after a long day of fishing and boating in the hot sun, its the last thing one would want to do, I have tie downs but but would it be just too big? thank you for any help. I live here in florida too lol. Very hot lol
Wow... bigger tubes than the 385xl and more room it looks like! I have been saving to buy the Xl, but now thanks to this video (and you of course) I have to save a bit longer to get this one instead! I like the color better also as Florida sun is brutal and being light color makes a world of difference.... I lived on the water there for years. Can't wait to see it in action...cheers bro!
Yeah, this one has 18.5 inch diameter, while the sk has 17. The ZK is better suited for open waters, while the SK is better suited for rivers. This is tye reason why I own both.
Very happy for you. I have a 10ft Newport Vessels and am really hitting the limits for space. This boat has me thinking. Looks like you are committed to the air floor and adding wheels. Which is good. Would love to see a rest of this with a 9.9.
Hi Erick, could you do a review on the Saturn 15' HEAVY-DUTY FISHING BOAT HD470? I can't seem to find anything on youtube on it and would like to see what you think about it. I am thinking about buying this boat and would like your opinion.
Wow, why would you need such a big boat? Kind of overkill lol. That being said, if you plan on getting this one, it is recommended to use a trailer because it is tough and big and heavy. A good choice. Heat-welded seams for better durability, patches everywhere to prevent punctures and excessive wear and tear. That's basically my ZK380 on steroids.
You could fold and unfold like I do with my boats but be sure to have someone help you with it. You'll need a 15-20hp outboard minimum in order to get to speed properly. I also have a group on Facebook called The mUddy Feet Oasis; feel free to stop by if you like and leave comments, questions and requests.
I've never seen those measurements. If you open your boat and look for the front left inflation valve, you'll see a rubber ring that shows the measurements I use. Is your inflatable a Saturn?
we have the same set up almost.. i have a 9.9 and the ZK330 that they dont make anymore from when i looked at the site.. looks like they replaced it with this 13 foot one no more 11 foot
@@teodorstokka8529 I think you get the same speed with a 6hp as you do with a 9.8hp but with 9.8 you can carry 4 people and still get on the plane but small light boats won't plane much faster than 16mph
You even make me happy that you are so happy. Congratulations on that beauty. I can't wait for the launch video 😍🤩🚀💪

That's a good idea. I'll make one showing how it is installed.
I love your new boat Erick! 😍💪👍🏻👌🏻Hope you get to enjoy it a lot too bro!
Oh wow! That is an amazing boat - it is huge when you see the perspective next to your house!
It is indeed. 2 ppl can ride on this very comfortably
Bliss! What a cool guy! 👏🏻👏🏻
I appreciate that
This is absolutely better than SK385XL ... I can't wait to see it on water Erick...👍👍👍... absolutely beautiful boat...
Yes, in terms of open water ability, it is far superior. Where the SK shines is on rivers. I plan on doing some river camping soon.

The hand pump is great for bicycles!
Haha! Yeah, hand pump works best for those who plan on putting the boat on a trailer and only need to inflate it once.
Looking forward to seeing it out on the water
UA-cam just showed me this message 9 months later. Thanks for watching!

With some tie-downs maybe. I have never done it and honestly don't recommend it. If you like, you could trailer it of that can be an option.

Hey Eric quick question.
In my manual it says
Keel 4.3
Tubes 2.9
AirDeck 8.7
I see you have 5.8 , 3.6 , 10PSI
How come?
I've never seen those measurements. If you open your boat and look for the front left inflation valve, you'll see a rubber ring that shows the measurements I use. Is your inflatable a Saturn?
(transom wheels) would you prefer a transom wheels brand same as your boat or you think is same other brand for it , it will make a difference
I prefer the brand called Brocraft. It uses push pins and makes it easier to deploy and lift, without removing pins.
@@ErickMartinSucre Nice !! Thanks for your answer 👍
Glad I can be of help ☺
Love the new boat bro 👌😍

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Looks like the ones they are making is the 380 and 430.
Eric my Zl380 came with one piece of wood flooring. Don’t know where it goes. Not in the instructions. Have any idea?
Yes, below the airdeck floor, you'll find 2 flaps. It goes in there. That is there to keep the front flat.
@@ErickMartinSucre thank you so much for your help. The floor came already in place so I was not able to see the sleeve.
@@williambaltazar6902 Glad I can help. It also keeps the inflatable keel in place so it cuts through wake and swells better. Be safe out there!

Did you ever find out why you didn't go faster than the 6hp with the 9.8 ?
Not yet, but I suspect that the way my BB290 was built limits the top speed. We'll see soon enough once I take this model to the water with it.
@@ErickMartinSucreI look forward to the new speed test video !
Whenever my boat goes slow, the problem is always me forgetting transom wheels in the water
Cavitation plate on your motor is way to low. That’s why your speed is cut down Bro…
