It has a built-in launch control feature, which, if you had activated it correctly, you would have had a much faster and intense launch. In order to activate it, you must shut off the auto stop/start, be in RS mode, and then hold down on the brake and push the gas pedal all the way down. An icon will pop up on the dash that says launch control is active. Then let off the brake and enjoy! It’s exhilarating to say the least.

It’s not auto/start stop it’s the traction control. I have an rs6 c8 by myself and that’s the procedure I have to go thru
@@valentinleuci What's wrong with using manual? He probably knows the power band. Unlike people who don't even own one like yourself. I know the gear ratios and power curve on my car. If you ever drove a real manual you would understand. But we all know you don't.

The funniest thing you don’t own one too.
Automatic transmission on all VAG cars change gear in order to achieve maximum average power during acceleration. For example my Audi change 1 to 2 gear in like 6300 RPM, then change 2 to 3 in like 6700 RPM. It’s better and faster than you are. It means if you shift it in manual you shift it too early

Ok, hear me out. This is my dream car, or even a more pedestrian S7. I’m 39, I have the money to buy but I won’t. Now that I can finally afford it, it isn’t the best car for me anymore (sadly). I can’t wrap my head around the maintenance it takes to keep these on the road. A bunch of money upfront and then 5 years of $$$ in services, then the depreciated value of the car. I just can’t do that when I see how that money will allow me retire earlier or accrue more aggressively to put my kids through college. Great great car, but too much money for it. Although I did test drive an A7 and it felt good, but it definitely can’t compare to the awesome RS7.

You americans just don't service and maintain the cars well. And bmw and audi are still at the top of your insurance reliability data. 3 and 5. As a german that is living where audi comes from and had 3 of them and his father working at audi... i will never understand why americans cry about audis reliability. Atm i have two s3 and one of them has close to 300k now with zero problems. The other 50k with zero problems. The A6 before i sold with 200k for zero problems. And same goes for neighbours and everyone i know. Still i read on youtube how unreliable they are from americans. Well they are not in germany. Find the mistake. BUT if you buy a very high performance sportscar like that rs7 at that price you should be able to properly maintain and repair it anyways.

I for my part am having lots of fun with cars and no problems. Go change the oil sometimes and don't go into an illegal car shop where they usually repair your toyotas or whatever you people drive. 😄

I mean I even talked to someone from the US cause i wanted to make sense of this. He said most people don't know how to repair or maintain audis. And still audi is at 5 in the US insurance statistics for reliability. Btw even my mom drives 220 when she goes somewhere.
