To avoid roots getting too spread, he planted his plants in a different container with small stones, so the roots could anchor to them. Then he placed it above the aquarium, so water could flow by itself down from it and watered it by a small DC pump from the aquarium. This was a few years ago and I don't remember some details, so I will try to find it and post a link to it here. Otherwise, nice videos and good luck with the experiment! So we've been doing this for decades in California, and we have some damn good techniques too. Would highly recommend reading some of our books for ideas that have been passed down through the years as well as new discoveries in lab settings.

Sir use organic fertilizer on your strawberry if you transplanting it in the soil again 30% soil and 70% organic fertilizer and it should grow well :)

FYI for anyone hydroponically growing potatoes, potatoes exposed to light are poisonous. So ya just dont use a clear container.

If you get new potatoes the potatoes will become green because the are exposed to light. Cover the roots with something to prevent this.
