Agree Gimme Shelter 1969, this is where they pull away and leave the rest behind, I'm 11 years younger than Mick n Keef still exhausted after Hyde Park last Sunday, they however can come out 4 days later and simply slay it Incredible 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎😎💯💯
@@donhanlon7121 I was so fortunate to see them live (from the "Pit") last October 17 at SOFI Stadium. I too was exhausted after the show like yourself but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. For those who can afford the ticket prices and are willing brave the mobs of people who still line up to see the Stones perform it is so readily obvious that all the phony claims that "they are too old, Keith is too arthritic, blah, blah, blah" is just so much BS. Woody's two guitar solos on "Rambler" are worth the price of admission alone! Anyone with a lick of common sense should realize that their enduring ability to fill stadiums to the hilt with adoring fans (both old and new) means that the band is still extremely potent...in fact they have never sounded better. Jagger is just a marvel to behold and it defies imagination that he will soon turn 79.
Seen the stones many times,last night they where great,spot on,,my daughter first stones show said the same,,,a proud dad.

It has to be said, Steve Jordan has brought them into a new era. Charlie was a foundational part of the Stones' sound, but Steve is a virtuoso (check his other work to find out) and very subtly deploys his skills to give the songs a little extra funk and drive. With Darryl Jones on bass too, that rhythm section allow the others to flex and improvise like never before, whilst honoring the stones timeless grooves.
I have to say our guys still manage to stand tall. Seems like Jagger really enjoyed this one that night.

Mick is surprising, swift and still jumping. Keith looks a bit tired and refrigerated. The 75 years old youngster Ronnie is still OK.
All in all a good act. Drums not as precise as Charlie Watts', but still OK.

The show actually began with Kieth heading right up to the front of the ramp belting out Street Fighting Man before Mick burst on to the stage. 💥

after 100 years Mick Jagger still CAN NOT play harmonica - he blows always the same two notes in and out and have a tone like an absolute beginner - everybody after 4 weeks of trying plays better than he - embarassing !
