Even without a major score in this video I still liked seeing all the weird stuff in there. I can't imagine living like that though!
It's definitely an interesting place.
Those horses that were in the girls room can be worth big money
I want that disco ball!
I still have them ;)
A lot of the stuff in the girls room can be pretty valuable! If there are certain brands even the nail polish bottles are collected.
We ended up grabbing most of it, even an old roll of deodorant lol.
If this was a grandma that bought her kids everything, wouldn’t they have wanted some of this? I figure, if it was was grandma, she was a hoarder. The right kind of hoarder at least!
No, they didn't want to keep anything that was left in the house other than family photos. I'm glad Grandma saved everything :)
I wonder if they lost contact or some family rift happened in the 80s and they bought lots of toys hoping things would improve and they didnt so they just left it.
The model kit @6:08 Still around or sold already?
Nope, I'm still sorting and unpacking boxes and haven't rediscovered it yet.
@@SargeRedsVintageToys ok. If you come across it again, please keep me in mind.
I sold one of the Big Mac containers in 2001 for 25.00, it was mint. I read a while back they can go for way more now lol
We sell them for about 25, I think the Mc Blt is a pricey one.
I'm surprised that there wasn't a Teddy Ruxpin found along with all the cabbage patch dolls and stuffed animals. Afterall, he was the most iconic toy of the 1980's.
Yeah, I don't think we found one in the house. I know I've picked them up before fun toy for sure.
How much for that BLIP ELECTRONIC GAME? I had that when I was a kid!
Lotsa cool items!
Thanks, i liked the bottom better 😀
Did you have to bid for all this stuff? What is the back story? How do you sell this stuff? Ebay?
Owner passed away a decade ago, family was dealing with the estate. There were other people who made offers but ours was the one they accepted. I sell online but we are renovating a building for our toy shop currently.
Just curious, what happened to the original owner?
check the bowie booklet and others inside they could be signed and worth a fortune
Not a bad Idea, I never thought to check it.
@@SargeRedsVintageToys you found a signed photo in cupboard of some chap dressed as a vampire all autographs are worth money like comics condition means a lot check photo albums for signed photos check autobiographies for autographs you could be throwing away a fortune if you don't even records can be signed I found Spike Milligan the goons signed book in a charity shop worth £100. paid £2!
@@SargeRedsVintageToys Bowie signed record was worth £60
I'm really curious on how this house was left untouched for so many years???What happened to the people that lived there???
I know the original owner passed about a decade ago. I'm not sure why stuff was all 80s back then though.
