Have fun Surah 2:22 speaks nothing of the sort. Surah 4:34 refers to in circumstances if (for eg.) a child is in danger of being harmed and the verse also says hit her lightly with a miswaak (basically a toothbrush). Surah 5:51, the word used isn’t “friend” the word is used is something very close to you. This Surah is obviously not referring to all Christians and Jews but Christians and Jews who are friends and allies with one another, something like this has occurred with Zionism and Islam warns to not be close to those who are allies with one another (such as Zionists, both Zionist Jews and Zionist Christians).

I do think that revert is a strange word, it means going back to, and Muslim is in "Arabic muslim, literally, one who submits (to God)", so either you did submit to God, and from the day of becoming a citizen of the Islam Nation, took upon yourself the title of Muslim, because human isn't a good enough title for the entity that you are, and you re-submitted to God, or you never submitted to God and took upon yourself the word Muslim as a title and submitted to God for the first time. Either way, revert is only viable if you are of one Life-Philosophy and then lost your way hating God or yourself, or whatever and then Converted into Islam by taking upon yourself the Title of Muslim, and thus re-submitted yourself to God... I'm pretty sure most people are 100% illiterate, or ignorant, and never really want to learn what a word means, but truly, the worlds life-philosophies are really strange, people are just unfit to live without a leader it seems, so they make one to follow, and those that don't are dehumanized. Real proper behavior.

There are many black Americans saying Islam helped the Muslim Arabs enslave Africans and Muslims Arabs were the first to enslave Africans specifically to make them work for Muslims. Us Mandingo/Mandinka people take Islam very seriously and 99% of us are Muslim but I feel saddened how they and along with other west African ethnic groups were taken from their homes and forced to change their culture,language,and religion. Also Mandingo/Mandinka's first were animists but later on after Mansa (king in Mandingo) Musa took a bunch of Mandingoes to Mecca a bunch of them turned to Islam because Mansa Musa himself was Muslim.

my father and his fathers before him were taught to never forget that we had brothers and sisters of darker skin and of great faith kidnapped from their homes and sold across oceans
its been told to us as if an entire tribe of our people been kidnapped and we speak about it till this day in pain
it brings tears to my heart seeing my african brothers in america living poorly and being discriminated against
one day our big family will reunite, for we are of all colors and languages but yet bonded by blood and affection like no other
