We're at the point now where we have to wish something from Disney can even be decent. How the mighty have fallen...
Made by the people who cancelled Daredevil and gave you She Hulk. Hope is for fools in this case.
We are a nation of fools
Punisher show runner is heading the show.
@@hitmanmonaghan6633 and The Punisher was good in everything but his own show. Doesn't give me hope.
@@unusualaussie9606 the first ten minutes of the first episode, the last two episodes, the last five minutes of the last episode was very Punisher. If they can just extend that.
@@hitmanmonaghan6633 Tall order, but fair point. Still I go by shit until proven otherwise. Worked so far.
Karen sucks in the Netflix series. Every time it was a Karen scene, it was nearly a fast-forward moment.
Disagree, but could be because I like the actress.
@@techsoul5590 I don't see why. She's the same open-mouth acting charisma void we've seen out of young women for over a decade.
Same here, I always skipped all the office lawyer scenes.
Aside from Fisk being a potential Orange Man allegory, I''m also worried about White Tiger. The whole character has become nothing but a bland Bendis-tier propaganda piece since about 2016
Never looked into White Tiger, what's he about normally?

Because if they moved straight, they'd be cardinals.
I'll see myself out
That's a good one!
They massacred him on She-Hulk! This trailer feels like a trap to me.
The Echo trailer had a similar gritty tone too.
Never underestimate the ability for Disney to "F" this up
A tiny shred of cautious optimism is all we should have. The trailer looked pretty damn good...but this is still a Disney product.
Lower your expectations.
I've got no expectations of this being good. It's on the onus of Marvel to prove to me otherwise.
Pattern recognition.
No, don't settle for this. They know what we want is Punisher season 3 and they refuse to give it to us for any amount of money explicitly because we liked it too much and they hate us. Until that changes I'm done.
I have absolutely ZERO faith that this will be good.
I don't care if it's good or not. I'm allergic to people who find offense with the fact I'm alive.
Oh MAN, you really got me with that plunger joke. I DID NOT see that coming. 🤣
Took me a moment of confusion, soon follower by my butt clenching tight.
Neither did Matt…….
“… your hero can be defeated by leaving a plunger in the toilet!” 😂😂😂 I’m dying! (And have to agree about the Director’s Cut of the Affleck “Daredevil” being superior. Honestly, if they hadn’t went for poor “Matrix” inspired martial arts, the film would have been much better also. And I have been a fan of Deborah Ann Woll’s since “True Blood” and hope she is in the new series. Besides being a TRUE geek girl, she’s also a fantastic actress!). And Elodie Yung was FANTASTIC as Elektra! Made me a huge fan of hers!!!
"Put down like Patton Oswald's wife" is another absolute banger. I used to compare Razorfist to Dennis Miller, but I think he may have surpassed him at this point.
Definition of the word masochist:

6:10 Father Lantom died in the third season, right?
Yeah, Dex killed him.
That was just a variant or Skrull. We won't know until Secret Wars: Part 3 when Dolph Lundrgen's Punisher appears in 616 to take down all of Daredevil's associates leaving the door open for Evanescence to appear on the soundtrack
2:57 RIP Gilbert, what did he do to deserve this? 😭😭
D’Onofrio has been great since I first saw him in the theater in Full Metal Jacket.
Berenthal's punisher is okay, but he can't escape the typecasting of TWD.
They'll figure out a way to make it suck.
I still don't trust that Disney will do horn boy any justice
From what I remember Communism tries to repress faith. There you go.
They want your only god to be the state.
Ever since She Hulk turned his outfit yellow and brightly colored, I give up on MCU at this point
Mocking Disney while still hoping their next flop is a masterpiece? That’s like hate-watching a sinking ship, expecting it to turn into a yacht.
Don’t give money to people who hate you.
Exactly. One potentially shiny penny and people go running with their change cups
Meh, I get my D+ subscription with my phone plan, so I might as well give it a look. I understand the stance of "don't give them money, they hate you", though.
Man, I’m glad to see you back, Razor. You’ve got to do move of your Iron Age Attacks podcast. It was fire. There’s so much going on in Indy comics and so many old hands willing to talk about the olds days that you could fill a dozen episodes a year.
The fact that we lost DD season 4 for instead a Disney "Born Again" rehash fanservice extravaganza is enough to infuriate me
Also how in the actual hell is Fisk able to run for Mayor after being the most hated man in NYC at the end of DD season 3............there is not enough disbelief in the world to allow me to buy that
Punisher season one is my favourite of the Netflix series. I know, I know; unpopular take. But it was refreshing to see a superhero show that wasn't obsessed with being tied to the MCU through constant references and one that was fully grounded in reality. The commentary on male disposability, whether intentional or not, was a welcomed touch too.
This Man rants so hard he makes me want to watch Disney Daredevil.
God speed Sir
That last line... Savage 🤣
God that ending joke was so stupid, I loved it.
Shallow observation: Foggy is the dumbest character name ever.
i didn't even know about the yellow mask thing since I avoided she hulk like the plague
but now that I do I'll be skipping this new daredevil show
It's, Disney, Marvel. I have no hope for it. That's ok though, for now I'm happy watching subs of Super Sentai.
Fisk becoming mayor makes more sense given the Absolute chaos of NYC post snap
Gonna be woke trash. It's made by Disney. Smh
One of my favourite comic book moments with Daredevil is when he has to operate a machine to save moondragon or something and she has to tell him how to use it and she says "Its easy you just have to press the red button".
Take anything Disney makes with an entire shakers worth of salt
I'll pass until after the Mouse has proven it has changed. Otherwise, I will remain hyped for watching people reviewing it over viewing it myself.
Jeph Loeb being secretly a racist against Japanese people is probably the thing that caused the Defenders aspect of the Marvel Netflix franchise to fall apart and while I’m not the biggest fan of the Netflix Daredevil series (sure to got me on Razor’s radar for certain) I have some hope that maybe Born Again can give me that something extra that might’ve been lacking with the previous series.
What is it with Netflix series that doesn't suit you?
@@op_14-s2xI feel the same way as the commenter, so maybe I can answer for him.
For me, I watched the first season and part of the second season (only went to that because I’m a diehard Punisher guy). The Daredevil show is exhaustingly boring, to me. Never read the comics before, so I don’t know if they’re supposed to be that way or what, but it was brutal, to me, especially the way they treated the reporter character I liked.
Season two was cool, seeing Punisher and the fighting with he and Daredevil, but that was all, for me. Canceled my Netflix not too long after that, and when I got it again, I hated every other MCU show they made lol.
@@michaelkikle3018 it seems to me that it's just not up to your taste, the show has all the elements that make Daredevil great, in the comics i mean, although i could find some things that i would change but that's just nitpicking. I can recommend watching Razor's reviews on all three seasons, you might give the series a chance after those
First daredevil story I ever read was by Wally wood and Stan Lee when he fought sub-mariner - it was in a book “marvels greatest super hero battles” and this was way before graphic novels were common in book stores and libraries…
It was awesome - love the character
Razor, are you sure you don't have any kids? These dad jokes can't be coming completely out of the yellow.
Nightcrawler Daredevil Marvel seems to have a thing for Catholic Ninjutsu
lol ... completely out of the yellow... proceeds to crack up .. nice one razor
I really liked Punisher season 1, but season 2 was lame imo.
Also I really can't stand the sight of supposed "heroes" crying like little girls being told No for the first time in their life.
Heroes aren't crybabies and they certainly don't solve any problems by squirting over their emotions. 🙄
Anne Nocenti's birthday was this week. Daredevil fans toss an F for the queen.
Fingers Crossed for the Shadowland storyline
Elodie young was amazing. She was in hit man's bodyguard with Ryan Reynolds and Sam Jackson. She should use her connections
As a blind man myself the plunger thing is why I check my toilet every time I go to the bathroom
Was I the only one put off by Daredevil season 3 back in the day? The FBI agent was a weak punching bag for his wife and Fisk ended up being a simp for a lady who practically took over his crime syndicate. I remember, overall, enjoying the season, but I think they wrecked Kingpin, though the FBI agent guy had it even worse. And that was with Netflix. I can't begin to imagine what Disney will do with the series.
I just hope we can finally see Jon Bernthal go full Punisher this time. I love his rendition of Frank Castle, and I think if given proper direction and material to work with, he could even equal or surpass the late great Ray Stevenson.
Is this the first time I'm seeing Razor with red aviators? Man's taste knows no limit.
Daredevil and anything involving the Russo bros is what I’m actually a champion of .., but otherwise Disney is cancer to any IP they own
So many shots fired in this video that it will need to be classified as a fully auto SBR
Didn't see that one coming ...
cant believe Gandolfini's son still has a career after many saints of Newark
Bro, you know they're doing the Trump thing here with Fisk
Bait is bait is bait.
Ill never forgive what they did to daredevil in the shitty she-hulk series. They massacred my boy for a painfully unfunny gag in a show that has already been cancelled
I like john bernthal as punisher a lot but that show's plot was not well written i acually prefer a more ancap punisher where his prime opponet is the goverment not the common thug but it was sorely lacking in punishment as previously stated i would love to see punisher take down cartels and other organized crime but that will never happen atleast we have the superb prison scene from daredevil
Did I hear TOM Bernthal??? Just wanting to make sure nearly 40 years of listening to metal (and cutting my metal music teeth with Stryper...true story) didn't cause me to hear something incorrectly.
I thought I’d misheard that!
Why people still trust Disney, I will never know...also, as iconic as the actors are, they are too old, we are getting a lot more cheap fanservice, and lets not pretend the Netflix show was perfect (season 2, anyone?).
Also, Mayor Fisk? yeah, put Vince D'Onofrio on a wig and some orange make-up while you are at it.
The super adventures of a blind man...with the power..TO SEE.
Oh boy. Adventure, ho.
I'm probably in the minority here, but Bernthal was not the right guy to play Frank Castle.
I'm that rare fan that actually really hoped we'd get a full reboot with an entire season of him in his Yellow costume. I prefer the yellow...blame Tim Sale for making it look so freakin' good! RIP Tim Sale.
It feels like everybody is waking up from a nightmare and all of a sudden good shit is coming out. Like somebody just went "Oh yea I guess we can do actual shows now."
