Colin's Trains n Planes well I’m just hoping the locomotive models will be fully finished and not the half done ones like the Allegheny articulated in Trains a new era

Even in the Alpha and Beta testing, I was impressed with this version. It has come a long ways since that first testing session. So far, the early access has been running well for me, without major issues.
The simple answer is that the original Tane and Tane SP2 were somewhat broken and second rate. Tane SP3 has been noticeably improved, and don't forget that Tane SP3 formed the foundation of TRS2019. Nice video, gives a great look of the game. The game itself is a great development step forward, but ruined by the marketing. I'm sad of that. The game had a great potential to become a good competitor, but with its current pricing, it will probably just fall like TANE.
I find the marketing confusing to say the least . . . . . However many people obviously did not object to the price set the traditional way . . .one up price for the basic game of US $70.00 I believe sales have been better than expected . . . . . go figure !
While I can understand the reluctance to consider paying that much for a game . . .I think of it like this . . .Buy say Fallout 4 . . .cost US65.00 . . . most people would average say 100 hours of fun from this . . thats US$0.65 per hour. . . . Now work out how many hours you would get from TRS2019 in it's lifetime of use . . . . . divide the price by that . . . .and you might see it is a real bargain compared to most computer games . . . . . just another way of looking at it . . . . . . . what does it cost to go to McDonalds one a month for a year ? . . .and so it goes . . . . . At least try a formula of your own to see if it might be a better bargain than you think . . . . hope this helps.
It would be fine if all of the stuff as one game cost 70$. Then I wouldn't blame anything. But the Silver Gold things are just not normal. Monthly paying for having content additionally to the 70$ pay is the funniest thing I've ever seen in game industry. Trainz isn't a production software.
@@BigBang1112tm the monthly subscription is not additionally to the 70 dollar. It is a different way to play. In my opinion is better the subscription, but I can understand that some people like the traditional way of purchasing the game instead of "renting" it.
It is additional to the 70 dollar if you don't get a Gold Class (if I understand their dreamish marketing). It's like paying for a travel - you're limited to the enjoyment. Thought the games won't go this way. :/
You didn't mention scripts. And they work even worse then in TanE. Which makes this new Trainz a worthless piece of garbage, especially with that price.
I did not have any issues with scripts because I did not test them, but checked since, and cannot find any reports about scripts. And remember it is Early Access . . . nobody in N3V is claiming it is fully functional, some sessions have problems as well. I agree it may be expensive for an early access, but the fact remains it is , and that is part of early access . . . some things may still be broken.
"some things may still be broken." Yeah, it's just the way Trainz is. It's always broken. I can't play TanE the way i play TS12, because most of my scripted locos don't work in New Era. In fact i couldn't play TanE at all up until SP3 came out because it had to many bugs.
Sorry to hear that . . . .I can confirm all N3V, Jointed Rail & K&L engines all run OK in Tane SP3 and TRS2019 with the exception of smoke in steamers which still requires PhysX Emulation to be turned off for now.
well i'm a Russian guy, and boy do we love to script our locos xD Recently we released a fully realistic electric locomotive (VL10) with fully-functional engineroom, pneumatic, electric-circuits and even bogey suspension simulation! But unfortunately this locomotive works very bad in both TanE and TS19. And so do most of other scripted locos. JR and K&L locomotives are a lot simpler, that's why they don't face the same problems as we do =(
Yes, you russians certainly do push the envelope to new heights, I wish some of the developers like Jointed Rail and K&L trains would follow, but as you say, scripts are not reliable in TANE (or TRS2019 which is just Tane when thinking about scripts) so I can understand. I saw a Russian steam locomotive done to those standards, it blew my mind. As I have driven real steamers I had not seen anything better before.
So this is trainz a new era with more content and new graphics nice
Not quite yet . . . . more than a few rough edges to fix . . .but it will be streets ahead of Tane SP3 when all that is planned is implemented

What's with that piercing sound running throughout the video?
That is my gentle but vibrant voice . . . . .
"some things may still be broken."
Yeah, it's just the way Trainz is.
