The world is so poor now in terms of climate change, wars, pandemics, food shortages- starvation . We do not need such extravagant projects that burn huge oil gas energy etc., Dubai better plant more trees, reclaimed desert to old forest . Younger generation are not interested in shopping malls/resorts but more concerned about damages done to climate & local conditions of societies.
Absolutely beautiful & amazing projects, but I agree that there are so many better places & ways to spend that vast wealth. Putting vast amounts of money into their own countries people with housing, education, healthcare, clean water, agriculture, etc is so much more beneficial. Put some of that vast wealth into helping those of your other nations, ie Egypt & the devastating effects of losing the free flow of the Nile & what that will mean for their brothers. Divert some to repair the effects of their polluted waters & fixing the damage to the ecosystem around Dubai from all the dredging & reshaping the coast. They are amazing structures, but the every day people of your lands should be of more importance to the leaders of your lands. Try using all that wealth for innovative solutions to the power, food & water needs of your people. You are greatly blessed so be a blessing to all of your people who aren’t so blessed.
There is no internet in Dubai, or the rest of the UAE. Amazingly due to security concerns and the paranoia of the seven States Rulers. Mobile phone reception is difficult at many times of the day, due to the forest of high rise and ongoing monitoring of the “Authorities”.
I remember stopping on the side of the road in Dubai, wait for my next appointment (salatul Maghrib) and checking my phone with the sim i picked up from a local store - 120mps download - 70mbs upload. That was 7 years ago, and as I remember, I couldn't get that speed in my "first world" country. 😐

DUBAI🇦🇪 has anticipated everything for the future.. and generations to come.. it's better to plant useful trees in barren lands..and in the old deserts...it is very good.. anticipating floods and even bigger overflows... with climate change, extreme weather🌞💥, heavy rain, 🌨🌧💦☔,,etc... natural events that we can't avoid... but at least we've tried to anticipate... on the other hand.. there are many wars, pandemics, many causes food shortages and hunger...
