    Love the file objects they are like smart objects in Photoshop and only require edits to one file. They also maintain the resolution and other attributes as well.

      I use file object a lot... But other software had similar options, I use CSP because, after you learn to animate, is simple enough and it can achieve professional results.

    Very interesting. I can see uses for this technique in my own projects. Thank you for taking the time to show us how!

      This is not a perfect solution, but it does the trick... I hope it can work for you...

    How on earth did you import the animated water texture with a transparent background?
    Did all the steps but it keeps importing with a colored background.😩
    Edit:
    Never mind I figured it out. I had to delete the paper layer rather than hiding it.
    This is magnificently phenomenal. Any animator should know short cuts are gold. (':

    Thank you for your very excellent explanation 👍 but how did you control the image in this way since you made it italic, I do not work with me in the same way

      Hello اميره ابراهيم, I will try to answer your question, although I do not understand it perfectly... so, the most important thing is that the first animation I made (with the wave texture and using Enable keyframes in the layer) is a reference, and I didn't use it at the end, but base in this animation I create an image sequence, to create the image sequence I mask the texture (because is a flat color texture), using the auto-select tool, them in the animation folder I create the animation cels I need and fill the mask to each cel until I finish the sequence... This way you can apply the distortion effect to each cel to crate de distortion-animation. I hope this can help you to recreate the effect. Please let me know if this is clear enough.
      you can visit my tips for further clarification

    how can I change the colour of the texture? i mean for example if instead of the white texture i want it to be purple how can I change it? because i opened the black and white one and i can´t change it to the colours that match my animation palette and it just stays black and white i can´t figure it out im new, help!!!!!!!!!!!

    • @animation-man

      you can change the colors of any layer with the option "Change layer color", another option is to select color you want, then select the layer you want to change, on Edit menu, convert to drawing color... so everything not transparent will be the color you selected. the next article can help, there are several ways to do it...

    For some reason, my loop animations have a slight delay when it should be seamless. I moved the last keyframe to the next frame like you said, but the delay still exists :(

    • @animation-man
      @animation-man  2 роки тому

      Hi Monotone Screaming, remember that the interpolation have to be linear! That's super important, you can read the article tutorial with animated steps here: tips.clip-studio.com/en-us/articles/5529
      I hope this can help you ...

      @@animation-man I found the issue! When exporting, the first keyframe didn't save/export correctly. I just deleted it and readded it to the timeline and it worked fine!
      Thank you for the advice :)

    I have Ex version of csp but I can't extend the timeline past 24 frames

    • @animation-man
      @animation-man  2 роки тому +1

      Try this, create a new file, go to the Animation tab, and in the Timeline area (is to the right) change the playback time to 48 for example,. This will let you animate two seconds.... If this not work, you must ask for help to Celsys.

    for some reason when I export it, it doesnt export the animation into the new canvas and I dont understand why

    • @animation-man
      @animation-man  2 роки тому

      I sorry, i don't understand, but... Remember I used file objects for this animation, a file objects is a .clip file called from other .clip file, so the first animation was made in a .clip file, and you just need to save the file, if in the main file there is no update, right clic over the file object, and there is an opt to update the file object... You can red this article too.

      Maybe instead of export, you can save the file, with just the animation layer

    How do I add the 'Easy River' file into Clip Studio Paint's materials folder?

    • @animation-man
      @animation-man  Рік тому

      Hi Launchpad05, to use the file, just open the Auto Action pop-up in clip and drag and drop the file over the auto action pop up palette... Auto Action can be found in the window drop down menu...

    • @Launchpad05
      @Launchpad05 Рік тому

      @@animation-man Okay, I dragged it into 'Auto Action'. Is that where it's suppose to go? Also, I can't find the water texture you used in your video. However, I did fine with with black innards.

      I the hamburger menu top left (I'm taking of the Auto Action menu), open and select Register Set as Material, find a folder you want, and OK

    • @animation-man
      @animation-man  Рік тому

      Auto action can't be applied by dragging to the canvas, you must use it for the auto action menu

    God damn that got complicated. Still good though

    • @animation-man
      @animation-man  2 роки тому +2

      It's quite complicated, but frame by frame is a lot of work... It will look a lot better, but it will take forever... Other option is 3D like blender, but the shading tree is crazy complex.
