The lid you found is J R Watkins Incorporated (St Winona, MN), they are a manufacturer of medicinal remedies, baking products, and hundreds of other household items. All their items were sold by door to door salesmen or from a catalog. They have been in business since about, I'm guessing, the turn of the century or maybe even earlier. I remember when I was a kid a Watkins salesman used to visit our rural home near Hailey, Idaho...
I feel his pain! I got a cheap detector after moving into a huge 1830 home built on the site of a burned 1790 home in Kentucky. I’ve found a thousand nails and various trash, curiosities, a 1909 D quarter, and a wheat penny shot almost in half.
I love to detect on grass like you're detecting on that old ghost house because is easy to dig, open a lid and lift up. Nice finds. keep filmming. If you like I send you a free video template for you next footage, let me know.
Great video guys, came across you from watching Dr Tones & mentioned your channel. Wonderful old house, great quality video, some good finds & well done for adapting that battery pack. Loving the drone footage too. Will be watching more of your digs in future. GL & HH :)
Nice video shot in 60f. It is the best to film. I don't shot in 60f because my two contour camera shoot in 30f and I detect alone, no camera man with me,....Jesus Good luck
Glad to know I am not the only person to find a lot of trash. Great job.
If you dug a piece of China that coil is going really deep! Cool hunt. The drone footage was great!
