I can't believe you guys put this out on UA-cam. It is incredibly valuable. It shows that you folks over there are more about the passion for shooting rather than the profit. Having said that, it is the greatest ad for taking your classes. I am trying to plan a trip out there so I can see the the stuff you didn't put on the vids! Thanks again!
I’ve just recently, started my concealed weapons. I’m retired disabled nurse. The placement of thumbs. I’ve heard one way of crossing over and then I’ve heard butted up to each other?? I’ve learned a hellva lot watching your videos. I wouldn’t be able to afford this but, thank you very much for releasing this to us!!
Mr. CarryTrainer - I have NO IDEA what your political or religious alignments are, and that alone makes you one of my FAVORITE gun channels. Thank you for "sticking to the subject," as it were. 🙂
I think he def made it clear where he stands politically just in a slick way where he wouldn’t be noticeable or pushy pushing any agenda or maybe its iust me that picked up just by watching this vid which is my first of him
Always great stuff my friend. Can never get too many fundamentals or productive/safe systems engrained. Hope to see you soon. Oh, and my Polish wife wants a word. 🤣
I’m a new shooter looking to train. Budget means I need the most for my money. Couple questions: 1) any training classes in central Florida you recommend 2) should I train extensively with dry fire before spending money on a class? Not sure if the class treats you like your brand new or are you suppose to be at some level of proficiency before hand. P.s. I already know how to operate, basics parts and functions, and keep the finger off the trigger…lol
Dryfire is done once you understand what you are training. As for budget, who doesn't want the most for their money? Cost is commensurate with value. Nothing valuable is cheap.
Though I agree with OP that dry-fire is done after you know what you’re training, that shouldn’t prohibit you from dry-firing with some basic idea of what you are doing. Pick a lightswitch in your house. Make sure your firearm is clear (with ammo nowhere near it). A good basic dry-fire drill is to master a consistent trigger press without disruption of the sights. A lot of people get all hopped up on grip, stance, breathing, etc. those “fundamentals” all have their place, but a good shooter can breathe through a full magazine, standing on one foot while singing a song and still make accurate, well-placed shots. If you can master trigger press without disruption of your sights, you’re more than 50% of the way to being a decent shooter. I’m not trying to tell you to train in bad habits, but your interaction with the trigger is the most important “fundamental” of them all. All others are subjective, and some practices are more efficient than others.
@@CarryTrainer thank you for the quick answer. I did mean budget = value and not cheap. Your videos show your classes are more than valuable, especially 3 day classes (except I only own a pistol). I was more worried about picking a class were I’m trained in a “habit/way of shooting” that so many “proficient” shooters on UA-cam use as examples of “garbage or actually hurting the learning curve.” Keep up the awesome content I love watching.
You need to! Mick is a grin. Great, informative classes with many takeaways for measurable improvements. I'll be back at his Kingston, MI class next year and S12 as well.
Hey Mick, I'm planning on participating in your Pistol Tune-Up course in Homestead FL this November. I carry Appendix 80% of the time, is it advisable to wear my Appendix rig or should I use my OWB holster for the class? Thank you for the free content you always send out. It's amazing stuff!
He emphasizes to train how you fight, so in other words yes it's okay to go to the class with your appendix rig. I personally done so when I attended his pistol class 3 years ago
Half the people probably can't hear you. I'm obviously not there but maybe use some type of speaker system cause not everyone has electronic ear muffs.

Love this content and excerpts from your classes. Love your humor.
Great way to reinforce, 10 dry fires for every miss. Awesome 👍
I've watched this video a couple of times. Excellent information and presentation. Thank you.
Thanks
I like mixing dummy rounds with live rounds in a revolver to learn how to keep the sight picture. It's a good use for a revolver.
Ball and dummy drill is a a great tool

Amazing, just Amazing.
Thanks for the upload.
Love this content Mick, thank you.
Not my style of instruction, but you do have a lot of knowledge.
Great content! Thanks Mick!
This guy is hilarious. I’d love to take his class one day.

My wife and I have taken one of his classes. Humor keeps the learning fun and helps keep your attention.
This is very informal..
I love mick!
How far back were you when shooting the pasty?
No trip to Phoenix, AZ ?
What was the point of hugging? Was this a safety check or demonstration?
It was soooooo cooooold and who doesn't like hugs?
Awesome teaching style, a little joke to relax everyone and then right back to it nice work 👍
Master class
You're so lucky to be able to attend his courses.
I can only wish we had someone at that level here in our area 🇺🇸💪🏼
“I’m fat, I like Weaver!”
Boom. First. Headshot.
I was 30 seconds too late 😂
