    Obituary for Marlene Marnon
    Marlene J. Marnon (Ansel), 87 years old, passed away on September 22, 2024.
    Marlene is predeceased by her husband, John E. Marnon Jr.; son, John M. Marnon; father, Richard Ansel; mother, Jennie Ansel; sister, Judy Hyde; nephew, Donnie Hyde. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carmelina Marnon; children, Michelle (Douglas) Lippa, Jeffrey (Amy) Marnon; grandchildren; Tiffany Davenport, Krystin Marnon, Samantha Marnon, Kelsey Marnon, Jennifer Lippa, Sean Lippa; great-grandchildren, Giovanna and John Amadio, Amory, Jayce and Myles Davenport; siblings, Charles (Madalene) Ansel.
    Marlene was born on September 6, 1937, in Niagara Falls, NY.
    She married her husband, Jack and became a mother to John and Jeff on August 15, 1964. Her daughter, Michelle came along 4 years later. Marlene enjoyed volunteering at the hospital and school. She later became a homemaker for her family. One of Marlene's favorite memories was her trip to Scottland and Ireland with Jack, her brother, Chuck and sister-in-law, Madalene. Marlene treasured her sister, Judy, who she shared the love of Elvis Presley with, as well as her brother, Chuck, who she loved to take to the movies and write letters to when he served in the military. She loved cats, angels and her rose garden.
    Calling hours will be held at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Avenue, Spencerport, NY 14559 on October 5, 2024 from 1pm-3pm with the memorial service to follow. The graveside service will follow the memorial service at Garland Cemetery 7743 West Ridge Rd - Brockport, NY 14420.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (200 Merdian Centre Blvd, St. 110, Rochester, NY 14618).
