That’s a fine looking course. I can see some challenging spots which is a good thing. If it’s to easy it gets boring rather quick. It amazes me what those little rigs are capable of.
I used a old cardboard box as the foundation then glued yard sticks from Menard for supports at 95 cents each. Used the scx24 boxes and fast food drink carriers with spray foam. Shaped the foam and them wrapped either plaster rolls and paint. I needed to be able to move mine out to the shed and inside when I wanted
Super cool build I didn't think it would be pretty costly but hey you get what you pay for and it's awesome brother👍 Are you running a stock scx24 the wheels are cool idk if they are painted stocks or you bought them. Also you can never get bored trying to do the whole course in reverse some people have weights on the front that makes it impossible going backwards it's a challenge.
Great job! My next thing will be to make a course too. Very good idea to use the insulation board rather then plywood. You probably shaved a lot of weight off doing it that way.

Makes far more sense than moving several hundred of pounds of dirt & rock into the home as I'm sure many others have.
Great mini course. 👍👍👍👍 liked and subbed
Hell yeah man!! Coming along well. Can't wait to see a video on some crawl footage. 😎

Only scx24, what about the Katana? It's marketed as a 1:18 but has a wheelbase only about 5mm longer than the scx24 Deadbolt.
Nice.
Why didn’t you use spray paint and why? Thanks 😊

Thank you. I plan to move it elsewhere in the basement for now. Then maybe out to the garage when the weather is nicer.
