One thing I love is in the final boss, shredder doesn't wear his armor. Splinter isn't fighting the shredder, he's fighting the man who killed his beloved mentor. Shredder not wearing his armor makes this fight MUCH more personal for Splinter
5:56 Man... I still remember always losing to this Nano Monster. As back in the day, we did not know you needed a memory card to save your progress. Thus, whenever we lost to this boss it was basically game over for us and we had to replay the all of the sections all over again. So this part was the most frustrating and memorable experience for us.
Played this back in the day and really enjoyed it. It's a little sad when games like these are "lost to time" unless you have a disc and the right console.
Played this back when I was in middle school, I remembered it being very hard. Replayed it recently and realized it's hard because there's way too many enemies in a single stage, on top of that the repetitive combos didn't help make it any more fun. But I absolutely loved the cel-shaded art style, the game still looks great even to this day.
It’s crazy the turtles were fighting each other and Splinter in this game. Splinter fighting Oraki Suaki was great too. Shredder is definitely a badass though.
If they do, they NEED to improve the AI, hit detection, and controls in Battle Nexus and Mutant Nightmare, assuming it’s just an HD remaster. I’m fine with either that or restructuring all three in a consistent fashion that adds 4-player to the first game’s portion.
I love this game but... are you for real? 2003 is GTA Vice City, Prince Persia, Star Wars, Max Payne, Silent Hill 3. This game is really awesome, but graphics never was the strongest part of that game
The animation for those 2000’s decade years shows were always mostly beautiful anyway. This is just taken from that mostly the actual series. If you ask me the animation in those years that we had for our series growing up looks better than the ones today
Pro tip: When you got hit and knocked on the ground, to quickly get up press JUMP button quickly multiple times, until your character gets up, after you got hit by a powerful attack. That way you can quickly recover and dash your way out of the boss or enemy range, so he or they can't do more damage to you. Pro tip 2: To quickly defeat Nano Monster v3 stand behind the explosive barrels, make him come close to you and they hit them with a launcher attack, to throw barrels to his face. Try to throw those barrels one at the time and do not miss. That way you will be able to defeat him quickly. Also, you can collect electric or explosive shurikens, and if explosive barrels is not enough, then use those shurikens and throw them at the boss.
hey thanks for the tips, let me give you one if you haven’t already figured it out, if you’re fast enough to catch the mystical ninja’s (except for water) after they perform their invunerable attack you can attack them and cancel their second invunerable attack (if they do it that is), also they will face which way they will leap so pay attention (but it’s not always possible to pull off especially with the mystical wind and metal ninja’s)
@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 I made a mistake, you can do it with the water ninja but unless he’s close to dying it’s not recommended but you no doubt knew that already, I just wanted to fix my error
Meanwhile I'm here just remembering that when I played this as a kid I always played Michelangelo and did the flying kick attack against the Nano Monster V3 and that was enough for me. I recall something about the explosive barrels but nothing in particular. Just jump, fly, and make the enemy hate the phrase "Eat feet" 😂
Re release this damn game not enough people remember or played it back in the day. It is a timeless masterpiece. This and Jackie Chan adventures. Absolutely unreal
I remember this game so well. I was helping my nephews mow down the game with ease, we got stuck on the foot gunner boss. But their like me, smart at figuring out boss attack pattern to get buy. idk if they ever finished it tho...
No offense but everybody with a brain can figure out boss patterns its jus a common thing in games and they never change the concept of that for w.e reason
@@jonnycarter46 well, not them..it took them 4 days to figure it out. They always went with the "Rushem and Bashem" mentality for every game they ever play or played.
Giant Mouser Robot always gave me nightmares when I was a kid playing this game. I almost always losing and still have some fear againt this thing. Even the whole game itself becomes scary for me because of things like that
I remember playing this game a lot. The three things I didn't like about this game was 1: There was no way to avoid dying. 2: There was no blocking or parrying. 3: Razor Fist was the most annoying boss in my opinion. Besides those three, I had a lot of fun playing this. I hope if anybody does decide to make a TMNT game similar to this in the future they'll take some notes from the Arkham series and Sifu.
Same here I still have the sequels, battle Nexus, mutant nightmare and mutant melee on my ps2 but the first one stopped working which I purchased in 2004 :(
I remember playing this game when I was a child. Best memories. I was never able to pass the flying thing in the notes from underground part. It was so annoying back then
I only ever got to play a demo of this game back in the day, wish I could have gotten an actual copy of it, but back then buying games was rare for me since I was a kid.
What a great memory I remember liking Donnie the most in this game I also remember fighting big nano machine was hard at first but easier with Donnie and mikie since there jump Cambo attack on easier to hit the target And finally last chapter having to fight multiple bosses was hard I remember dying on my first 2 attempts and barely surviving the 3rd attempt Last time I played 14 years ago I managed to beat it with 4 lives left
The best game I've played, hands down, is one that blends the charm of 3D gameplay with a crisp, high-definition comic book style. It flawlessly distinguishes between the virtual and the real, creating an immersive experience. However, Ubisoft's later Ninja Turtles game was a disaster, failing to capture that magic
This looks pretty good on widescreen format, 16:9 aspect ratio! If Cowabunga Collection 2 is real, this game should look exactly like this! same as the rest of the games of 2K3 series.
RW:giant nano boss, and the scary monster bosses are the scariest boss fights my bro and i ever encountered in this game, and even fighting the elemental water ninja was tough and tricky enough.😕

I was invited at my schoolmates birthday and there where I first saw this game, he was playing it for months but stucked on a final Nanobot boss fight, we even tried to beat it on co-op but failed, the boss seamed to tough for our childhood skills, I don't remember where he got a disc with the game but he didn't had it anymore so I spent a few more months trying to find this game, I remember buying it but it didn't run on my PC, I can't remember where I finally got the working CD but I definitely remember I wasn't the only one in class who started playing this game those day, so I installed the game, started playing it and at the same day I beat Nanobot while playing as Donatello, phoned my schoolmate who wasn't able to beat him in months and imagine what....he recently beat him, looks like the guy didn't wanted anybody to spoil him what's next in a game or maybe he didn't wanted to be considered a looser who stucked in the beginning of the game everybody in class started playing so he pushed himself to the limit to beat this boss asap.
Anyone know where I can download it fully? Every other time I download it it's always missing something like a scene or how to do special attacks or something on pc I mean
I used to play this game with my big sister back in 2004, but she sucked at this game and only wasted our lives. The elemental masters in particular was awfully difficult she had to beg our father to buy a game shark to beat the level😆😆😆
I'm sitting here thinking the same thing. Like there are bosses I have gaps in my memory whether I defeated then or not, like the foot soldier with the guns and shit and Hun but then I clearly remember Baxter Stockman and Shredder but not beating Oroku Saki so I legitimately don't know. I have no way of finding out either because as a kid my parents didn't understand why memory cards were necessary so I was never allowed to have one so I had to start from the beginning any time I played 😂😂
